17.01.2022 Lions and volunteers remove small mangrove plants at low tide near the boat ramp with the approval and guidance of Council. Mucky job. Well over a couple of hundred removed to keep that area free.

11.01.2022 Our Lions members are doing what they can to support the Lions District Disaster Relief fund. On Saturday we raised almost $700 form donations given by our local community at the Newsagents or at the Butchers and Bakers. Thank you to our wonderful Heads community and the many tourists who donated! If you want to make a personal donation you can do so by going to this site https://www.givenow.com.au/australianlionsfoundation

08.01.2022 Shoalhaven Heads is a coastal village that relies heavily on tourists for the local economy, but it is also a village with a permanent population, many of whom ...are elderly. Of the 3,000 residents - 44% are over 60 and therefore at higher risk from infection of CovID19. Normally we'd be happy to welcome visitors, but these are not normal times and now is not the time to visit the Heads as a tourist. If you have accommodation booked here, please cancel it and we would love to see you back when the current emergency conditions have passed. Please do the right thing for us, for yourself and for those you love.
