Today I had the privilege of shaving Josh's hair off for the awesome cause "shave for a cure" apart from the fact that you smashed your fundraising efforts and have raised well over your $2,000 limit, I think anyone who is brave and caring enough to shave their head to show support to cancer sufferers are true heroes! Well done Josh and you are looking great rocking the #1 clipper cut!

Why don't you call in and grab your mum a voucher so she can come and relax and get a fresh new look Or we have a fantastic range of shampoo packs available too if that's more what your mum would be in too! We are open until 7pm tonight and until 2 tomorrow!

05.01.2022 Have you heard the news? Shear Envy is closing down in August... I (Samara) have been offered a great job in the new hair and beauty salon coming to the shearwater woolworths shopping centre In september/october and after alot of thought i am very excited to let you all know that i have accepted the job and i'm very excited to start my new adventure. With 10 years experience as a senior hair stylist, i am also excited to be able to expand my services as i am becoming a beauty... therapist. The new salon is going to be amazing, the owners have hand picked great staff members and trust me when i say that the level of experience between all of us is amazing, i look forward to seeing you all there. Danika has also been offered a fantastic full time job in a salon in devonport called belle and beau. I wish her all the best in her new adventure as she is actually having her last day at shear envy this wednesday. Xx Due to these changes and with me being at school our opening hours have changed, it will now be open monday, tuesday, friday and saturdays we will be closed on wednesday and thursday. 03.01.2022 As winter is sneaking up and all of the fresh cold/ flu germs are coming I am going to ask please please please think of others if you become ill. If you have an appointment booked in and you have caught a bug we would much prefer you to cancel your appointment and give yourself a few days to get better than coming in and sharing it with us, We love you all but not quite enough to share germs haha. No one can help getting sick but if you pass it on to us then we can potentially pass it on to 20-30 people a day and if we become sick and can't work then everyone misses out. On a brighter note we will be offering deluxe manicures with in the next month and you will be getting an amazing introductory price so keep an eye out

03.01.2022 We would like to wish everyone a happy Easter, we hope you enjoy whatever it is you choose to do over the long weekend, we will also be making the most of it and will be closed from Friday through to Monday so we can spend quality time with our families and to over indulge in chocolate remember to be safe on the roads if you are traveling!

02.01.2022 Hi Everyone, as you may of heard, I have enrolled in a beauty course, I will be out of the salon every Wednesday and Thursday for all of this year. Danika will be here all day on these days . It's very exciting and something I have always been interested in, so as this year marks my 10th year of being a hairdresser I decided to go for it. This doesn't mean I am cutting back on my hairdressing it just means I'll be able to offer more services in the salon make sure you keep an eye out for some specials coming up in the near future!
