23.01.2022 Well I've been up the panic mountain, and down again. Like us all I have been searching for answers on how to react responsibly in our current crisis. I have taken measures in my workplace to keep on operating until I receive further instructions to not do so or have to self isolate. I have most definately upped my hygiene procedures, whilst they were always of a good standard the current times call for extra diligence from us all. I would like to keep my business running as ...the absence of income is a worry for us all, but my own moral code to do no harm is at the forefront of all decisions made. Some of the steps I have taken are Single use equipment, each client will have clean capes and towels . Steralising all equipment between use One client at a time wherever possible current appointments may not reflect that , but all future ones will. I have removed communal items such as magazines and toy box. If you like a read please bring your own books etc Tea and coffee making on hold also but more than happy to make you one in your travel mug. I am trying to apply as much common sense as I possibly can whilst we are fortunate enough at present to have no confirmed cases in our area. I will endeavour to keep abreast of the government's guidelines, they are changing daily, All of the current guidelines are applicable to my business such as If you have traveled overseas in the last month please do not come in until your self isolation period is over Please do not come in if you are ill, have a temperature or uncertain of your health status in anyway etc. Do check the sa health website if you are unsure. I deal with people of all ages and stages of life with very different health, so I am keenly aware that I must be very conscientious and protective for my most vulnerable clients. In this case it most certainly is our senior citizens. I do reserve the right of refusal to maintain safety for all. Thankyou and your kind consideration would be greatly appreciated. 22.01.2022 Refining my procedures here at work. A few things for my crew to know I can't answer my phone mid service as I used to. Please feel free to text me on 0488100513 or leave your number and I will call you back at my first opportunity. Cleaning between services takes more time... All services are available but timing is compromised , so I ask for patience on this. I am really serious about trying to implement one person at a time. Of course a family group or couples that live together are fine, but I would ask that if someone is already present to either wait in your car or use the new waiting area adjacent to the salon area. We are all being inundated with endless info so please feel free to share this info with your elderly relatives that may not be on social media As always your kind consideration would be greatly appreciated Lee
