23.01.2022 Dear Shebah Riders, We sincerely hope you're managing to juggle all of the information and anxieties that we face right now. COVID-19, after the deadly bushfires, is causing more strain than many can cope with- but together we will. Shebah, like you, is very concerned about the most vulnerable amongst us. To ensure our community are all looked after, Shebah is extending its services to include assisting with transporting elderly passengers and others that need help so they c...an stay home. This includes transport to and from shopping trips, collecting shopping or goods from a local pharmacy or any other helpful trips we can do to assist. Please share this with any neighbours or elderly family members to ensure they have the services they need. To ensure the safety and care of all our passengers and drivers, we are closely monitoring the situation with information from the Commercial Passenger Vehicle bodies in each state, the Australian Government Health Department and the World Health Organisation. All updates will be shared on our website on our Community Protection Policy page. One such update received today is that the Australian Government has announced a mandatory 14-day quarantine for anyone entering into Australia. Wherever possible, the Federal Department of Health has advised passengers arriving from overseas to use a personal mode of transport when travelling from the airport to their location for isolation in order to minimise exposure to others. To protect the Shebah community, the following policies are now in place; Riders will be requested to sit in the back seat to increase physical distance. Passengers flying from an overseas trip and using a Shebah should wear a surgical mask, if available. While travelling, passengers and drivers are advised to practice good hand hygiene and cough/sneeze hygiene such as washing hands properly and frequently, please cough/sneeze into disposable tissues or your elbow instead of into your hands. Drivers are keeping their cars as clean as possible, frequently cleaning with alcohol-based sanitising products Passengers and drivers are also advised to avoid contact with others if unwell. We want to continue providing the safest possible, reliable service to everyone in the community during this time, so we thank everyone for your cooperation. Shebahs anti discrimination exemptions to operate was solely based on data such as this, to prove this service was needed. Driving for Shebah is all about keeping other women and children safe. Its enormously rewarding, and very different to all the other rideshare companies. 16.01.2022 Hello mums and dads! * Important Post * We are the drivers that bring your daughters home safe late at night until the wee hours of the morning, from the Valley, City or the suburbs on Friday and Saturday nights. ... Please, please, please, ensure the App is up to date not only on your phone, but also on your daughters phones. Credit Card details need to be kept up to date, and enough funds need to be available to cover their trips. Lately, our Shebabes have had quite a number of CC cards declined, and what is most upsetting for us drivers is we cannot get your daughters home, especially when they are at their most vulnerable Until a booking goes through successfully, we are unable to have access to their exact location, or their phone number to be able to touch base with them. I believe a message does pop up on the passenger App, but it is fleeting. If your precious family members are a little tipsy or tired, they may not have the ability to acknowledge what the problem is. We have had passengers try some 10-15 times in a row to book, with no success. It can be frustrating for the passenger - they may think were not accepting bookings when we are. Its heartbreaking for us - knowing your daughters are trying to get home safely, and we have no way of contacting them before the booking becomes successful. #womendrivingwomen #safertogether

Hello Ladies Well its finally here the preferred driver feature has just been launched You are all part of a world first and everyone here at HQ are super excited. The tech team have done an amazing job getting this done along with Georgina McEncroe constant vision for Shebah. ... Make sure you let any of your pax know to update their app, however they will receive a notification. How it works Riders booking a ride in advance, can select a preferred driver for their trip. They will only be able to select drivers from their previous rides. That trip will then go directly to that selected driver to either accept or decline. What happens if the riders preferred driver cant take the trip? If the selected driver cannot do the trip, the trip will go out as usual, by location, to other drivers. If this happens, and their trip is accepted by another driver, riders will receive a notification letting them know that their trip has been booked successfully, but unfortunately their preferred driver was unavailable. Important! The general app rules will not be overridden by the preferred driver selection. What this means is that if you are requested as the preferred driver, but you are outside the maximum pickup distance and/or the request is for a child seat and your car is not enabled for child seat, you will not receive the request as the preferred driver. #game-changer #LadiesLetsRoll
