20.01.2022 How is Shebah different from any other Ride Share? This weekend we had an advance booking that a driver accepted. Unfortunately the driver had a family emergency and couldn't full-fill the job. She turned to her fellow drivers to get it covered by organising someone else to do the collection. This job was 12.15am. The rider didn't make any contact with the driver upon booking or even when she received the cancellation. ... However, our great group of drivers didn't want to potentially leave someone stranded at midnight, even though there was zero contact from the rider at any stage - she could've been at work right and not received any communication!? We arranged for a driver closest to the pick up point to drive out at midnight to see if anyone was waiting. This driver also contacted the rider, again with no reply. It turns out that no one was waiting. It could've just been someone playing around with the app to see how it worked. But us Shebah's were not prepared to leave someone stranded. And that is the difference with the Shebah ride share. We want to get people home safely and we work as a team and provide 100% care.

16.01.2022 N E W I N M A Y! The app is having an update and by the end of this month of May (how is it May already!?) you will be able to do the following: A new fare-splitting function for riders. Yes you can split the bill with up to 6 other passengers. ... XL vehicles this means no more fluffing about trying to text your driver how many toddlers are coming on the ride or if you need space for extra bodies. It doesn’t apply to boot space but car seats available. It costs a little more but it is well worth it and far safer than using the Shebah Special Bookings Page on Facebook. Extra child seats - you can now customise your ride to include how many child seats you need and which ones you need, whether it's forward or rear facing or a booster seat. No more calling your driver to work out how tall your 5 year old is! For Drivers, the Shebah Drops feature will be set up with a parameter of 10km radius. This enables Drivers to accept a job at a glance without seeing if someone is wanting her to take a box of hammers 35kms for $11.66. (Of course this will help Riders and Users too.) I know, who sends a box of hammers? Tipping So many riders and users of Shebah have wanted to tip their drivers. Now you will be able to do so by the end of the month. I do really hope that no one ever feels pressured to tip. The drivers are not expecting riders to tip, it’s something that people have a range of strong opinions about. The tip options are fixed at $3, $5, and $10. IF, you would like to, now you can in a safe cashless, taxable way. There are drivers available on the Mornington Peninsula, but at the moment not everyone will be online 24 hours a day. 08.01.2022 Who is driving the girls and ladies round the Mornington Peninsula? Each week we will introduce a new driver so you can get to know us. Hopefully this will give parents peace of mind when we are collecting your teenagers, or if you are rider it will help you recognise us when we come to collect you! Please meet Cheryl . Cheryl is from Mount Martha has been a ride share driver on the Peninsula since December 2017. Having noticed how many teenagers rely on ride share to get a...bout independently she joined Shebah in July 2018. Most passengers are unaware that legally Uber/Didi/Ola drivers are not supposed to accept unaccompanied minors travelling alone. Having a teenager daughter herself and wishing to ensure she has access to a safe ride share service. She signed up with Shebah which is the only ride share service in Victoria which carries out Working with Children Check and is licenced to travel with minors. Cheryl has used Shebah both as a driver and parent looking to book for her daughter on occasions. Cheryl can work anytime between 6am until 10pm Monday to Friday. 5.30am until 10am or after 9pm with advanced bookings on the weekend. The areas she usually drives around are. Mount Martha, Safety Beach, Dromana, Red Hill, Main Ridge, Tuerong, Moorooduc., Mornington and Mount Eliza. Happy to drive long distance having driven to Avalon and Tullamarine airports or Phillip Island from the Peninsula. Times are flexible when using the Advanced booking service on the app.

06.01.2022 Drivers out tonight and ready to take you places. All measures are being used by our drivers to keep our cars clean and germ free. According with Federal Government Health Guidelines Shebah have a protocol in place regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). If any member of the public has tested positive to COVID-19 the State Government is automatically alerted by the health authority that has carried out the test. The Government then contacts all relevant establishments and places of... business visited or used by the infected person including rideshare services. If the member of the public who tests positive has used Shebah rideshare in the last 5 days Shebah HQ will be notified. Shebah HQ will then immediately contact the driver who has been exposed to the virus and offer full support. If you have any concerns call the Coronavirus Hotline 1800 675 398. 05.01.2022 Dear Mornington Peninsula We hope you are travelling OK with the craziness of the world at the moment, both mentally and physically? Shebah HQ have been working super hard to evolve Shebah into something that can help you right now. As lets face it, no one is going anywhere right now. BUT we all still need to get our items from the shops, pharmacies, butchers etc etc.... Shebah DROPS is going to be launched very very soon and will be a function within your app to use to book a driver to collect something and drop it to you. You can either book a drop for a particular time (like our schedule later bookings option) or find a driver straight away. You will also have the option to request your preferred driver. Men will also have the option to book a Shebah DROPS, so this is open to everyone that needs it. The cost? A flat fee of $11.66. We hope you are all staying safe and look forward to driving you around when all this is over. 04.01.2022 Just reminding everyone that shebah drops is an option for anyone needing to have something collected or delivered outside their 5km bubble.... it's 12.76 per drop and you can on cost that to your customers if you are a business etc.... I am permitted to drive outside 5kms etc.... There doesn’t appear to be many active drivers at the moment but we are still here!! If you log on and can’t see a driver please dm me I can either book it in or find a driver for you. Thanks and stay safe peeps .

04.01.2022 ADVANCE BOOKINGS There have been an influx of advance bookings recently which is AMAZING! Thank you all who use this facility within the app. It can take a few times to request an advance booking for a driver to catch it. Please rest assured that if it doesn't get picked up on the first or even second time to keep trying. Because behind the scene us drivers are talking to each other and are trying to making sure that someone is able to catch it.... If you are unable to get a driver to pick it up please feel free to post here or DM the page direct so we can do our best to organise a driver for you! Happy Shebah'ing
