20.01.2022 Last night on a whim I decided to make a batch of sourdough flavoured with tumeric and ginger. I wasn't sure how it would go as I normally stick to my regular plain sourdough. I'm just going to say it is amazing, the smell throughout the house was fantastic, so much so that my husband couldn't wait for this cool down before he got stuck in. I was worried that the ginger would be overpowering but it is just lovely. I think more of this flavour will be in my future. 04.01.2022 This was a fun cake that I made just as we were entering into our first round of lockdowns. The planets were fondant covered styrofoam balls so that they didn't fall off the side of the cake. For the sun I made a chocolate sphere that I then covered with layers white chocolate coloured yellow, pulling it into points for the texture. It was then handpainted to add the extra highlights of colour. @ She Bakes Cakes
