03.01.2022 sheBuilt, together with the City of Port Phillip, are celebrating local women artists in a South Melbourne art exhibition & café commencing today for 5 weeks only! Situated in a stunning historic and iconic heritage property, which in itself is 'Art', on the corner of Clarendon St & Bank St, South Melbourne, (307 Clarendon St). We are so excited to be opening this gallery/cafe. Just as we are recognising women in the built environment, we are supporting women in the art envi...ronment. The exhibition celebrates the work of 9 female artists. Visitors will have the chance to view and purchase the work of up and coming painters, sculptors, installation artist, a photographer, an author, a floral designer and mural artists, whose murals adorn two sides of the building’s exterior. Local artists being exhibited include: Chanel Tang, Mural Artist Claire Bridge, Artist & Sculptor Ella Baudinet, Artist Goodie, Mural Artist Marina Brbot, Photographer & Author Martha Lord, Artist Naomi Troski, Installation Artist & Sculptor Nerina Lascelle, Artist . Sam Sagginelli, Floral Artist Come and support this great initiative which has been set up to support the artists and the community in these challenging times.
