23.01.2022 Food for thought on this Easter Monday... We get freedom from what we go through..not from what we run away from ! If we want to change something, we must change what we do, if we continue to do the same thing over and over, nothing will change... this also applies to our daily chore of bed making !... If you struggle and get frustrated when making the bed or the sheets don't stay in place and disturb your sleep, change what you are using ! 22.01.2022 Before I came up with my idea to improve bed linen, I use to think...there has to be something better out there than this !! I would check out the bed linen everytime we were away and still do, yeah I know it's a strange and quirky thing Tell me what you see when you look at your bed sheets ???... Sheets that don't fit properly ! Perfect sheets ! Messy sheets ! Sheets that need improving ! Never thought about it ! Sheets that frustrate the hell out of you ! Sheets that disturb your sleep ! 18.01.2022 Wow what a start we've all had to the new decade !!! 2020 has hit Australia hard, it's been one thing after another. First drought...then fire...soon followed by floods and now the whole WORLD is dealing with a killer virus Here's a few things we can do while isolating ourselves and keeping the required distance to help get the Coronavirus under control !!!... TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO !!! Declutter the linen cupboard and fill with Sheets Down Under, the kitchen pantry is also a great place to start... Bike riding is a great way to get some exercise and keep your distance from everyone else... Take advantage of the isolation and spend some quality time with your loved one... Find a quiet place to lay down and do some sky watching, watch the clouds or the stars, listen to the wildlife and let the world roll on by... Go exploring, go for a bush walk or find out where that path you've always wanted to know goes ?... Put your feet up and simply chill, meditate and just forget about the world and it's troubles for a while... Finish reading that book you started... Finally do that jigsaw puzzle you got for your birthday... Grab a ball of wool and knit or crochet a throw rug for Winter... Have a go at something new, like learning how to play a musical instrument... Write that book you've always wanted to do... By keeping calm and not allowing boredom to creep in, we'll all get through this... Remember it's not forever and it doesn't matter how long the tunnel, there is always light at the end and a rainbow after the storm Take care, be responsible, stay safe and be kind to each other

14.01.2022 Not giving to much away about this at the moment but I'm a bit excited, after 3 nights on our bed and impressed with it, I just had to tell someone. So who better than my followers and customers !!! You probably know I've been trying to make a quilt cover that simply works better for sometime, one that's quicker and easier to put on and take off. I've got close in the past, but not totally happy for one reason or another... ... But this one looks very promising

13.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Hope you are keeping warm and staying safe. I've been working on an order this week and WOW..... it's turned out stunning, it's such a romantic looking set. A king size set of cream sheets and my newly invented quilt cover........ When I put it on the bed to test, I stood back to take a few shots and I have to say..... OH MY GOODNESS it made me feel, like I wanted to grab my man and take him to bed. Wink wink say no more, just shut the door and turn the lights off lol If you look carefully at the pictures below you can see I managed to make each side of the pillowcases with a different pattern of the fabric, now that's smart even if I do say so myself... giving two different looks And of cause my quilt cover is to die for, not only does it look fntastic, it solves all the problems struggles and hassles that comes with the traditional cover used today, and has been for many many years and still is !!! I've asked a few loyal customers of mine to test it out, because we don't all sleep the same. 13.01.2022 I think we can all relate to Jimeoin's spin on making the bed, using the traditional fitted bed linen. However... I'm here to tell you there is an alternative it's called Sheets Down Under. Sheets Down Under linen removes all the problems Jimeoin talks about !!... I dare you not to laugh I had a good giggle . 11.01.2022 Well hellooo weekend, we're glad you're here! What a beautiful sight to see in the morning, Australia has amazing wildlife and it's a privilege to see them up close and personal. We woke this morning to a visit from an unusual large amount of cockatoos, normally there would be 4 to 6 joining the lorries for breakfast.... What characters they are, could sit and watch them for hours Have a good weekend everyone xx

09.01.2022 With cooler days and staying indoors more, it's the perfect time to pick up that throw I started last year. I can sit and relax with a cuppa or glass of wineand crochet till my heart's content Is anyone else doing a project with wool, be it crocheting or knitting. Please share, I'd love to see a picture. Craft is a pleasant way to deal with boredom, while we are all keeping our distance to stay safe.

08.01.2022 Well there was a touch of Spring in the air today in Sydney can't wait for the warmer weather to get here !!! Has anyone else put an extra layer on their bed or is it just me ??? I know it's late in the season and would have done this usually in July, but had to add another layer to our bed. Up untill now the quilt with my new cover (which is fantastic) has been enough, but I've been feeling a little cold lately so added my fitted mid season blanket and it did the trick just nicely.
