25.01.2022 Robinland would like to announce another signing...... With an emphasis on recruiting the person before the player it gives us great pleasure to welcome Daniel Freshney and his family to the nest!!! Daniels playing career speaks for itself, 2x NWFL premiership player with Latrobe, NWFL coach. 2x NWFA premiership player/coach with Wesley Vale. Daniel will add great knowledge and leadership to our young robins on and off the field.

22.01.2022 Last night we kicked off pre season with 38 faces down at the club. It was great to see some new and old faces with a few helpers down to have a look and help cook the bbq. With some more exciting news coming yesterday regarding a new electronic score board, times are looking strong in Robin Land. OUR CLUB OUR COMMUNITY

22.01.2022 *** UPDATE *** COMMITTEE MEETING CANCELLED If anyone has any questions feel free to contact the page and we will endeavour to answer as accurately as possible.... A committee meeting will be held next Wednesday the 25th of March at the Sheffield Pub at 7:30 pm. We will be forwarding on any important information about the upcoming season from the NWFA Meeting which is being held on the coming Monday

14.01.2022 Hello to all in Robinland, Last week the committee made the decision not to compete in this years abbreviated NWFA 2020 season. It was a tough decision but amongst our reasons is the added workload to our small volunteer base due to Covid rules and the fact that starting from a small pool of players who committed we could quickly find ourselves under resourced on the ground. Injury to unconditioned players and the fact a cough or sniffle automatically excludes players from th...e club could quickly escalate issues. Many may say the virus may still be here next year. Hopefully a vaccine has arrived but if that is not the case we can be prepared. To use the old military adage (PPPP) Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. All can be assured will be ready on and off the field for season 2021! Stay tuned for some function news. Shane Davies President

With the current precautions being put in place Sheffield Football Club is going to post-pone the Jumper Presentation Evening until we are as a club notified about when and if it will be safe to host this event in the near future. 13.01.2022 The Sheffield Football Club would like to welcome Reagan Boon for the upcoming 2021 season, Booney comes to us from the Ulverstone robins and is sure to bring some quality chat to the track and the club rooms. You’ll find Booney roaming around the forward line sneaking a few snags but also pushing up the ground with some serious foot speed. We can’t wait to see what Booney has to offer on and off the field!

09.01.2022 Announcement! Mitch Belbin and Jarrod Beswick are the newest recruits for the Sheffield Football Club. Mitch Belbin is switching codes from Soccer to Aussie rules. He brings to our club strong leadership and electric pace! Fiery character who never backs down. Jarrod has played both soccer and football for Ulverstone. On field Jarrod can play multiple positions but we expect him to play as a high forward, He has unbelievable athleticism and sticky mits! Off field both Jarrod and Mitch bring an atmosphere like no other! We can’t wait to have both these lads around our club striving for success!

03.01.2022 The Sheffield Fotball Club are happy to announce our newest recruit to the club, Jake Freshney. Jake is a well equipped forward with great hands and a lovely left peg! His skills were previously utilised in the DFA, kicking over 70 goals in a season! The Freshney name is no stranger to the Sheffield Football Club, as Jakes father, David Freshney, is a multiple premiership player at our great club! Jake has the determination and skill set that complements our forward line exceedingly. We at the Sheffield football club are elated to have Jake join us in the upcoming 2021 season. Go Robins.

Jake has spent stints in S.A and QLD and now is keen to get back to his local club. He is a versatile player who will strengthen our midfield stocks whilst being able to push forward or back. 01.01.2022 The Sheffield Football Club are happy to announce Liam Moore as our newest recruit. Liam comes to the Sheffield Football Club from the Devonport Football Club where he has experienced senior football at the age of 16. He has represented Tasmania in the U/16 development series where he played as a key forward. Liam is a full forward/ centre half forward where you’ll see his athleticism at its best, flying for strong pack marks and kicking plenty of goals. Welcome to the club Liam and all the best for season 2021.
