23.01.2022 Not bad...scored the highest (out of 5 stars) with 2 other candidates - for our concerns on the pollution caused by Cockburn Cement factory, and pollution in general...although only 6 of 21 candidates accepted the challenge in responding and taking the pledge to fight against pollution in the City (with one candidate publicly withholding their name and response)! Candidates' responses were measured against 5 criteria. ... Complaints of pollution from CC are still rampant despite two kiln bags being installed - especially in areas within Beeliar, Yangebup and parts of Munster. The techniques used to identify the pollution emitted by the factory could be improved (rather than relying on environmental officers' sense of smell). https://pollutionstoppers.org/council-candidate-pledges-20/

21.01.2022 Hi West Ward residents (Munster, Spearwood, Hamilton Hill, Coogee, North Coogee and Henderson), as a Senior Project Development Engineer, I've been involved in many state and local projects within the City of Cockburn. As a candidate, some of my key priorities for the West Ward are: Increase traffic flow and connectivity by supporting a free-flowing DIRECT east-west link between the West Ward and the Freeway; e.g. Roe 8.... $1.2 billion in funding is still available from the federal government. However, the City Council have been opposing this link, despite it would reduce traffic congestion in parts of the City by up to 67% according to a report by an engineering consultant group. That would improve safety - and the environment (while affecting less than 0.5% of the Wetlands). Request for MRWA to fast track the duplication of Beeliar Drive towards Stock Road, and Mayor Road at the Rockingham Road roundabout. Urgently renew calls for the City and MRWA to install a traffic light at the junction of Cockburn Road and Mayor Rd. Install CCTVs in the forgotten suburbs of Hamilton Hill, Spearwood and Munster, and increase security. There are over 800 CCTVs in the City of Cockburn, but only one is installed in those areas (at the City Council's head quarters) Streetscape appearance - the 2nd highest priority according to local residents. As we address the key priorities, the remaining themes and correlated objectives such as business development, community and lifestyle will be met.

19.01.2022 My interview with The Cockburn Express. On Roe 8, Outer Harbour, crime, urban planning, me as an engineer on the Council, etc. /cockburnexpress.online/cockburn-election-sheldon-ang-west-ward-candidate/

18.01.2022 G'day West Ward residence of the City of Cockburn... I've been part of this community for almost 10 years. Like most ratepayers, I've been a frustrated resident, namely on our priorities thus far. In short, tackling traffic Congestion and Crime are my key priorities for our Community. Think of the 3 C's; Congestion, Crime and Community. ... In the upcoming days, I will lay out my plans. Yearning for change is a key driver...but delivering the outcome is something else. As a Senior Project Development Engineer for a public utility, seeking capital approvals for minor projects to the state's biggest investments - AND delivering outcomes are my daily accountability for many years. I believe I can leverage from my professional aptitude in driving the key outcomes required for our community. Vote 1 for ANG, Sheldon

16.01.2022 Keep digging West Ward Councillor Michael Siparovich. No wonder our Council is so disconnected from the Community, when we have kids like you in charge. I suppose when you have a sitting councillor childishly trolling a candidate who's NOT vying for your spot while endorsing others, you know you're on the right track. ... Perhaps try reading the entire interview. You might learn a thing of 2, instead of trolling candidates that you're not competing against.

13.01.2022 I am proud to be one of the engineers involved in some of the most significant projects carried out in the City of Cockburn during the last 2 decades. Thank you North Coogee, Coogee, Munster, Hamilton Hill and Spearwood for a wonderful few weeks. Great community! It wasn't that long ago that I was involved towards the development of North Coogee including the Marina, where I spent time with some of the locals today. It drew an immensed effort and coordination with various tea...ms and stakeholders including government departments (including the City of Cockburn), community engagement, safety and environmental organisations. I was also involved in the development of Cockburn Aquatic Recreation Centre (Dockers' HQ), Cockburn Central, Beeliar Village Shopping Centre, Gateways extension, the revitalisation projects, and all of the land developments built in this City during last 15 years. I believe that my skills as a Senior Project Development Engineer and previously as a Land Development Engineer would be invaluable to the Council. Having a professional leader with a solid technical background, fused with a respectable financial acumen (I carry out Business Cases for some of State's biggest investments) would be unique. It is time for the Council to be diverse in such challenging times. Please do consider before you vote. After all, engineering is also about the fundamental strength that lies in the soft skills; leadership, communication, customer service, integrity and empathy. Here is my recent interview with The Cockburn Express, which gives a bit more insight about me as a potential Councillor for the West Ward. https://cockburnexpress.online/cockburn-election-sheldon-a/ Thank you for listening. Time for a beer! Wanna join? Sheldon

03.01.2022 Thank you for serving the community. And thanks for the explanation on the fire fighting process, and supervision while I captured those hot shots!
