25.01.2022 My regular 'Community Coffee Catch Ups' are a great way for me to engage with locals about the issues most important to them. It was great to meet and discuss with Connolly and Joondalup residents this week at 28 Cafe and Govenders Gourmet alongside special guest Ian Goodenough MP.

23.01.2022 Today a new generation of WA Liberal leadership in Zak Kirkup MP and Libby Mettam demonstrated that this coming election is all about you, the people of Joondalup. Together as a fresh and united team, myself, Zak and Libby are completely focused on delivering for the people of Joondalup and as your local candidate I am 100% focused on the issues you have been talking to me about because that’s what really matters. I love our community of Joondalup and I have the energy to speak up and will continue to fight for our community.

12.01.2022 An apprenticeship can be tough. New skills, a new team to work with and the big cost of new tools needed to get the job done. We have made a $200 million election commitment to boost the number of apprentices and trainees in Western Australia by 20,000. In addition, the Liberals have also announced a $1,000 Apprentice Tool Bonus. This will provide a helping hand for young apprentices and trainees to buy tools, equipment and clothing, or to pay for medical assessments, police ...clearances and other direct costs involved in getting ready for work. The Liberals are focused on creating local jobs, helping local apprentices and backing our local small and family businesses. That's our Local Jobs Guarantee.

11.01.2022 How great does this artist's impression of the Joondalup Health Campus expansion look?! Sadly however, the State Labor Government is still letting our Northern Suburbs down and STILL holding back our hospital! The story goes...... 2017 - WA Labor promises $167 million towards Joondalup Hospital 2018 - Federal Liberals provide $158 million towards Joondalup Hospital 2019 - WA Labor CUT their commitment to $98.7 million 2020 - Not a single brick has been laid to begin the hospital expansion. WA Labor need to start delivering their commitments for our Northern Suburbs - their lack of delivery is completely unacceptable! Sign the petition https://www.holdingbackourhospital.com/

10.01.2022 For 16 days in November and December, the community is invited to take a part in a major effort to encourage change to stop violence against women. The annual 16 Days in WA Stop Violence Against Women campaign takes place from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to 10 December, which is Human Rights Day. Now in its fourth year, 16 Days in WA draws inspiration from the global movement for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based ...Violence to drive a change in culture, behaviour and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children. Together we can make a difference.

01.01.2022 A WA Liberal Government will commit $300,000 towards establishing a new Korean War Memorial within the grounds of Kings Park to honour West Australian personnel who served in the conflict. Shadow Minister for Veterans Issues Tjorn Sibma MLC said that 1673 West Australians fought in the Korean War between 1950 and 1953, with 34 killed in action and six listed as missing. This is all part of the WA Liberals' ongoing commitment to honouring Australian servicemen and women....
