09.05.2022 We have had an amazing and inspiring day, visiting @stockansoatcakes and their manager, Stewart, who was kind enough to show us both around their factory at Stromness. Orkney is where our oatcake recipe originated from and it was brilliant to see how Stockans has taken it to the next level with efficient and quality production. They have employees who have worked for them for over 40 years (so 39 left to go for us). Family, traditional, local and loyalty is what drives their business. We left Stewart with a box of Pepperberry oatcakes to try and provide feedback.
