24.01.2022 January CleverPatch Cake Day! We had 5 January babies to celebrate this month and no one could pick a style/flavour so I had a go at a lolly/chocolate bonanza cake! Conclusion: you just cannot make a drip cake on a hot, humid summer Aussie day! A few more cakes coming up and also our wedding in exactely 3 months today! 24.01.2022 Some of you may know that this afternoon, we celebrated the marriage of one of my closest friends Kelsey to her new husband Mat! A short while ago they signed a lease for their first home together and my wedding gift to them is my very first string art! I hope this string art helps to make your first house, your first home! 23.01.2022 Hello, hello! Just in case anyone was wondering.. yes I am still alive haha! I know I keep making excuses but getting past chaotic christmas has taken a while! Time to get back into though. This beautiful cake was so fun to make for a lovely Sydney Roosters fan! Had some left over cake batter so threw in some extra cupcakes too! ... I have never heard of a hummingbird cake nor made one before so it was very interesting to make! Hope it tasted as good as it looks! 19.01.2022 This week we celebrated the birthdays of Nikki and Alison for our CleverPatch cake day! I honestly felt a bit lost with this one for some reason. The flavour of 'caramel' was requested which was incorporated as a mud cake base with caramel popcorn! Some maltesers for extra texture and crunch too :) Im happy with how it turned out still. Big project to be revealed after this weekend too so stayed tuned! ... Shell

06.01.2022 Well well well, It's been a while hasn't it? Thank you all for still staying around while I've been quiet with busy work and personal health and injuries to look after! I have been so excited to get back into my string art and have been even more excited to share the results with you all! The end result looks amazing and I am in love with stained wood as a background!... "Flower Palace" designed for the wonderful Phil who works every day, all day for his little florist on Beaumont St. I wanted to give him a little personal touch to his shop especially with mother's day only 2 days away! Phil does absolutely stunning arrangements of flowers for such a good price and they last super long and are super fresh too! So head on down to 89 Beaumont St, Hamilton for your bunch for mothers day this weekend!

06.01.2022 Major Project (almost) finished! Tweety's new aviary has spent many months in the making but I am in love with the end result, and so is Tweety! Finally habitable, Tweety moved in this afternoon and is already really happy in his much bigger and roomier home! He has already destroyed on of the toys I spent many hours making thinking he couldnt break it.. lol! I could not have got this aviary done without the help of my dad and Zac!
