23.01.2022 It is such a privilege to be able to make the graduation cake for our grade 12’s every year! This year they truly challenged me!! Chocolate mud, White choc mud and vanilla sponge. It is about 8kg of cake.

22.01.2022 For Sale to the highest bidder! I made a cake a week early (yes I really need a holiday) and it is now the practice run. It is a Semi-naked white choc mud cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and strawberries in each layer. Decorated with fresh flowers and fresh fruit. Would sell for $180 to a regular paying customer but I am taking bids starting at $20 as the flowers and strawberries will not last the week! Tracey Schmidt your cake will be well practiced!

21.01.2022 This cake was a labor of love as it was for my mum. The inside is raspberry swirl cake and red velvet cake put together in a checker board pattern! This was also my first go at Silver leaf.

20.01.2022 Had a heap of fun making this Cookie Monster Cake for the staff birthdays at my school! It is a vanilla choc cup cake with two large choc chip cookie layers then covered in dark choc ganache then vanilla fondant. The cookies are the real deal home made kind.

17.01.2022 I got to spend last Saturday learning how to make the very cute Cockatoo on the top of this cake with the amazing Zoe from Sugar Art by Zoe Byres. I went home and applied the same skills to the bottom layer of this cake. Must say I am happy with how it turned out!!! Painting onto fondant with coco butter is my new favourite medium. Also going to play more with wafer paper.

This LEGO cake was special though because my nephews helped to make all the bricks on the cake and we used Luke’s favourite LEGO fire engine. Happy 5th Luke (Skywalker).

The theme for this years staff birthday cakes is "Whimsical". A fun can and I love all the reactions especially when I got asked how many pancakes I made or whether we should lift them off one at a time!!
