22.01.2022 I don’t say this lightly..... People are struggling - really really struggling with the world as we know it in current times. People are presenting exhausted, ...scared, angry, snappy and short fused with this second bout of lockdown. It is evident in the many sectors that I work in as well as having noticed it from a personal level..... Don’t get me wrong - this new way of living has brought about many random acts of Kindness also. So what can we do to make these times a little less stressful and scary?? Deliberate acts of self care is the number one thing I relay to people struggling. Why? Because when we struggle we generally don’t feel like doing much - and that leads to forgetting to fill our happy buckets. Worry, concern, taking on other people’s problems or being at the brunt on the receiving end of someone’s bad day can take its toll.... piece by piece your happy bucket becomes depleted. You may have heard the saying - you can’t serve from an empty vessel...... That’s where Deliberate acts of self care help. Jot down a list of a minimum of 7 up to as many as you like .....things that you can think of as self care...... some ideas may be.... *Zoom session with a friend (maybe with a cuppa or some of the treats you would normally have on a catchup ) *Netflix binge with a blankie and no Social Media for a few hours so you can just be. ..... don’t forget the chocolate *Exercise - this can also help in increasing Seratonin levels in the brain (your happy chemicals)...... *Doing some good old snail mail..... knowing that the people you love will be holding in their hands some love from you in the near future.... ..... you get the idea A great morning gloom buster for those mornings when you wake up and just don’t want to face the world can be combatted with some thoughts of gratitude ...... * I’m grateful for a roof over my head *A warm place to shelter *A loving family *A fabulous job *My health and the health of my loved ones...... Again, you get the idea Gratitude can activate a positive mindset..... give it a try for a few days and see how it changes your gloom to A bloom And last but not least - if the people around you are acting differently - speaking to you in tones they havn’t spoken in before, seem off or rude.... don’t take offence - we never know what someone may be going through. Stay safe people, body, mind and soul. We are all in this together

15.01.2022 Good to hear we are back to wearing masks shortly as per pre Xmas restrictions. I just want to throw some perspective on how important though it is to still be vigilant. Dad in England tells me the other night that they now have 98,000 deaths due to COVID (yes you read that right 98,000)!!!! He also has said one in every two people have it now. They are back into real full lock down. It is going to be in the UK for a long time from what he is hearing. ... Totally and utterly scary for them and for those of us that fear for their safety. Please don’t let your guard down...... we are doing an awesome job here - let’s keep it going xxxxxx

I too will be wearing a mask - This will protect yourself and myself during the session. 03.01.2022 CRYSTAL SALES UPDATE!!! Crystal Sales will be back next year. We have made this decision as we have a confined space and everyone loves picking up the crystals to admire (who doesn’t love a good sparkle ). We also have a new Grandbaby in the family and another on the way - so we have some other precious things to keep safe and admire that we need to take into consideration.... As per normal though, if you need anything for a gift - just inbox and I’m happy to make a time for a private viewing/sparkle shopping adventure. Look out for our upcoming posts over Xmas. Local delivery and postage will be available. Another consideration has been our Counselling Clients needs - My work load trippled over COVID and several people are needing Saturday’s as their only available time for face to face sessions.......we are happy to accomodate given the events and stressors everyone has been through since March this year.
