24.01.2022 Cancellation of events, tours, festivals etc. because of Covid-19 is going to mean significant loss of income for those working in the Australian entertainment industry. A lot of people are going to need help, if they aren't already in need. Musicians/Arts industry workers came together recently to help during the bushfire crisis and now the tables have turned and we are the ones in need of support. My gigs are all private and all on the Sunshine Coast this weekend so I'll be heading off to steal back my old bedroom and eat all the food at Ma and Pa's place After a massive couple of weeks I am keen for a little getaway, some doggy cuddles with Ellie, lots of singing and sunshine Also, don't forget to get your tickets for the @respect_theshow because I'll be back on the Sunshine Coast November 15th with the crew for another show! 22.01.2022 To say I am grateful to have a gig tonight is an understatement of an understatement, if that is even a thing. If you don't already know, due to Covid-19, the Australian arts and entertainment industry has taken a huge hit, losing over $200 million in income (so far), leaving many of my friends/colleagues/community and I with little to no work (mostly the latter). So tonight, after making necessary changes to make sure we're being responsible, we're here at Yandina Station, we're ready to perform and we're going to enjoy every minute of our gig, because we don't know what the near future will bring. Stay safe everyone xox

18.01.2022 We played at the @charlieteofoundation fundraiser last night to help raise money for brain cancer research. A lot of awesome things were auctioned at the event but I'm still chuckling at the fact they managed to get a $500 sale on a pack of 20 toilet rolls Thanks to @coolbananasentert who painted my face for the masquerade theme and thanks @bakerboysband for another great gig for a very worthy cause

15.01.2022 This is the time of the year where gigs die down a little, batteries are recharged and the reminiscing begins. The rest is nice, not to mention necessary, but i absolutely love my job. Like, a lot. It keeps my mental health in check, it makes me incredibly happy, improving myself professionally is really rewarding and I work with some really amazing people. Always looking forward to the next time I will be on stage

13.01.2022 Hey instagram community I haven't posted here about all the things that have been happening lately but things are becoming very real for me and for my musical community. The Australian arts and entertainment industry has lost $150 million in income so far since the ban on large social gatherings and that number is continuing to rise. We are facing a very challenging time and it is so important that we support eachother throughout the coming months. There's no telling what this will do to the industry long-term but somehow, we will be OK. Please check in on each other and make sure you're all looking after your physical and mental health I hope to be seeing you all sooner rather than later xxx
