We know our students will be looking forward to the completion of these areas. #shelleyps UPDATE: unfortunately we have encountered a problem, and the equipment will no longer be able to be installed in this area! (we can’t risk any damage to our beautiful big Moreton Bay Fig tree). We are currently working with the builders to identify an alternative, suitable site and hope to have our play equipment installed by February. We are disappointed in the delay - but we also want to make sure it is all done right!

15.01.2022 Pirate day is always an exciting day for Kindergarten. Last Friday, we read pirate stories, played pirate sport, made pirate cookies and fruit swords, wrote about our adventures and still managed to fit in a treasure hunt where we followed the clues to find buried treasure! 14.01.2022 Happy 80th birthday, Mrs Pickard! Mrs Pickard has been active in our school community for 51 years, when her own children started school here. She has continued to assist Shelley teachers and students over many years, helping out in classrooms, at the morning reading program, as a founding member of our Shelley Knitting Club and a life Member of the P&C. Mrs Pickard has been doing reading at our school as a community helper for the past 21 years! Whilst CoVid restrictions ha...ve prevented Mrs Pickard from being at school, we know she is very keen to be back helping Shelley students. We couldn’t let such a milestone birthday pass without a Shelley celebration, so we held a CoVid safe one, with Mr and Mrs Pickard treated to a little morning tea outside the school gates, and our Year 3-6 students gathering outdoors to sing Happy Birthday! #shelleyps #schoolcommunity See more

14.01.2022 In 2020, our first Shelley PS School Band was formed. In 2021, we will have a new Training Band, and our current band members will become the Shelley PS Concert Band! Congratulations to our young musicians. #shelleyps #schoolband
