21.01.2022 Our foodcare ministry was so excited and thankful to the Shellharbour City Rotary for their generous donation. The donation was used to purchase a much needed commercial chest freezer to better help our foodcare program support over 80 families a week. They approached foodcare in August wanting to partner together and noticed the immediate need for a commercial chest freezer.... Thankyou rotary for your genrosity! If you know anyone doing it tough, encourage them to pop down to see Karen and the team at foodcare on Thursdays 10-2:30.

16.01.2022 Permanent Part-Time Three Days Per Week About us At Shellharbour Community Church we are passionate about children and families and have a heart to connect with... our local community. Each Sunday morning we run a dynamic children’s program for toddlers and primary aged children. Our heart is to love and support these children, teach them the Word of God, and connect them within our church community. We also have Sprouts Shellharbour, a thriving Early Learning Centre, on-site as a ministry of our church. We have a vision to further connect with and serve local schools and families. Qualifications & experience Experience working with children, preferably within a church context NSW Working With Children Check A commitment to the local church The ability to build and lead a team Skills to teach scripture and children’s ministry A collaborative team approach Tasks & responsibilities Build and lead a team of children’s ministry volunteers Plan and coordinate Sunday children’s ministry each week Teach scripture in local schools one day a week Run outreach programs in local schools such as breakfast or lunch clubs Collaborate with Sprouts Early Learning to connect with children and families from the community Manage all associated administration such as team and family communication, safety processes, and resource sourcing. The interns have worked incredibly hard for their studies and have had great opportunities to serve our church this year.
