25.01.2022 It is with regret that we inform you that the Maryborough Sheltered by Grace shelter will not be proceeding. Although we were successful in obtaining a Development and Building approval for the site at Neptune St, PresCare has had a change of Board and CEO and we believe they have decided not to proceed in leasing the site and building to us. We have been waiting for formal notification from them, but none has been forthcoming. Instead, they have listed the property with no notification to us of their decision. We would like to thank you for your support for the project, and we will keep you updated if another site or the existing site with new owners can be secured to provide emergency and transitional housing in the Maryborough and Wide Bay region.
