18.01.2022 What do kids love? WATER We now have a warm water tap and soap outside so everyone can have a good wash before they come in. Also helps with washing hands after eating which saves our toys from getting sticky and keeps kids with allergies safe thanks #cityofsubiaco for putting this in swiftly why do we have the feeling there will be little hands getting washed endlessly

14.01.2022 This popped up in my feed from 7 years ago! That’s right we have been going to playgroup for 8 years and this is our last Playgroup has been the most wonderful place for the kids to grow up, meet local kids and have fun. Plus it has been a lifesaver for me, going there with a toddler and a newborn and having other parents to chat to, help out and watch you kiddos while you slump on the couch tired and breastfeeding yet again. I have made lifelong friends and connections and... navigated my way around life with kids and starting school, all with the help of this wonderful community. Plus being a volunteer at playgroup has been an fun and fulfilling role. I will miss it dearly next year. We would love to see your SPPG memories and hear your stories. 09.01.2022 We have had 20 families join in the past 2 weeks! We wanted to say a big welcome and share some fun facts about playgroup: 1) Shenton Park Playgroup has been running for 29 years! 2) We have some grandparents attending who also attended with their children when they were young ... 3) SPPG has plenty of room to play but also gates so parents can relax 4) SPPG has a coffee machine #vital 5) We are community organisations 6) Playgroups are run by a group of volunteers who are also members 7) Playgroup is wonderful place for both children and parents/carers 8)Playgroup WA is the peak body for Playgroups and help us to exist and run 9) Playgroup is awesome

It is so heart warming to think our lovely little playgroup will be in its 30th year next year.
