13.01.2022 How do you learn a tune? I like to learn a number of different ways but one sure way is to play it on other instruments. Another way is to interpret it in another style or groove. And lastly, film yourself doing it and edit the final result. After youve done all that you should know the tune!! But who has time to do all that? 07.01.2022 French Composer Saint-Saens wrote this little number back in 1874. Danse Macabre is considered a tone poem, which is to say it tells a story or a fable through the music itself. ... Danse Macabre is based on an old medieval allegory about the dance of death which was essentially a dance that everyone knew because everyone was going to die one day. As for my take on it, I prefer the gypsy jazz treatment which gives it a more up beat feel, take life by the horns and follow your passion, not worry about the inevitable and take in everything you see around you.
