23.01.2022 A smart way to take command of a complex concreting project can be to give more control to the concrete experts. De Luca recently simplified their project management on two separate industrial projects designed by McVeigh Consultants in Wacol by engaging Kraftur for a complete scope of works from footings to crossover, including managing the concrete supply. Though Kraftur were currently working on four other industrial facility projects at the time, utilisation of their CM...D (Consult, Manage, Deliver) process and an industry-leading investment in plant and equipment allowed them to complete both projects within the tight program timeframe and on budget. 21.01.2022 Unbelievable Ffing numbers from the Kraftur Crew! So, what the Ffing are F numbers? They measure the floor flatness (Ff) and floor levelness (Fl). The higher the number, the flatter, and more level the floor. Together these numbers allow the industrial concreting industry to set job requirements as well as benchmarks of excellence. ... The Industry average specified requirements are Ff50 Fl30 which is closely equivalent to no more than a 3mm gap under a 3m Straight edge. Our recent partnership with Vaughan Constructions on their first venture into Queensland saw us completing a full package supplying, placing and finishing concrete to the Tungsten Structures designed Warehouse from footings to final crossover including offices, warehouse burnished floors, loading dock combi slabs, external pavement and tank slabs to n...ame a few. Preparation, equipment redundancy, and attention to detail allow risk minimisation and deliver excellent results. Fisher & Paykel warehouse at the Port of Brisbane built by FKG Group and designed by Northrop Engineers includes a 20,000m2 Dramix 4D 65/60 fibre reinforced warehouse floor and an 8,000m2 external heavy duty pavement. Krafturs recent work with CIP Constructions on the Linfox project at Willawong made us feel like the Linfox fleet on the road with trucks everywhere and anywhere. Our team seemed to be everywhere on the Job site. Managing simultaneous pours, on multiple work-fronts both indoors and outdoors was both challenging and rewarding.
