25.01.2022 Just finished another takedown lever action. This one has a Cerakote topography camo pattern and a Boyds stock. Keep tuned for more of our recent projects.

24.01.2022 Winchester 1894; this rifle had been exposed to the elements for some time and had some pretty nasty pitting and rust build up. After hours of cleaning and polishing we removed as many of the pits as possible and blued all of the metal components. A refinish on the stock complemented the bluing job and the rifle was given back to the customer. He couldnt believe the difference. We were very happy with his reaction once he saw the rifle, and pleased we were able to give him the opportunity to take this rifle out to shoot.

23.01.2022 Here we have a beautiful Mosin Nagant and Mauser Mod 98 that came in for a reblue and stock refinish. These rifles had been kept in good condition over the years with only the typical wear and tear on the bluing and stock wood you would expect on a rifle of this age. These rifles came out beautifully, and the owner was thrilled at how beautiful his rifles look. Jobs like these are really rewarding and we love doing them.

22.01.2022 Here are 2 of the firearms we have blued; one is a FN Trombone that came in for a restoration on the metal work and a Beretta Monoblock which needed a touch up to remove some surface rust. Both of these firearms look great after being blued and we are very happy with the results.

21.01.2022 This stock was made for an old beautiful Greifelt shotgun that has stayed in the owner’s family for generations. The shotgun’s stock was replaced with this custom stock made to the customers dimensions for the best fit and feel of the shotgun. We build our gunstocks by hand, they aren’t mass produced or pumped out on a CNC machine so each stock is hand crafted with many hours of labour involved. We were really happy to see the delighted look on the customer’s face when he opened the case to view the stock for the first time.

17.01.2022 Here are some muzzle brakes we installed which should help reduce the felt recoil when the customers are out on their hunting trips.

17.01.2022 This is a custom Howa 1500 chambered in 308 Winchester. The action and barrel have been trued up and the GRS stock has been pillar and glass bedded. A Lucky 13 floor plate with magazine has been installed along with an MDT 20 MOA rail. If you would like a rifle like this or yours made to something similar please contact us.

16.01.2022 Introducing Express Rust Bluing and Gold Plating! We had a beautiful Annie Oakley commemorative .22LR lever action rifle come in that needed the barrel and magazine tube blued and the gold plating touched up on the barrel bands. We now have the set up for gold plating and the results came out beautifully! The Express Rust Bluing is a new addition to our metal finishes which looks lovely and hot salt bluing is not far away. We recently obtained the bluing tanks courtesy of our friends at Mannings Sports in Gosford and we are in the process of refining the salt mixture for the best results. We anticipate to have hot salt bluing ready to go within the next couple of weeks to provide you with another beautiful firearms finish.

15.01.2022 Hello everyone, We are currently in the process of hiring and training more staff to help us continue delivering our services to you so we want to give you an important update to a change in our office hours. Our new office hours will be from Monday to Saturday, 1pm to 5pm. We will still be available outside these hours for appointments if scheduled ahead.... Over the next 6 months we will need to adjust our office hours so we can have allocated time to focus on training new staff with one on one instruction and keep up with our current work load. It has always been an important objective for us to teach gunsmithing skills to new staff so we can help support the firearms industry in Australia. After our first year of operation, it has come the time where our 3-man team needs to expand to meet our customers demands. 10.01.2022 Lee Enfield Trainer 22LR; this rifle had been painted black to cover up the rust and pitting, and the paint had effectively glued parts of the trigger mechanism together preventing this rifle from functioning at all. The stock had some cracks in it and required some glass bedding, along with removing some of the dents and scratches from the finish. This rifle was in a sad state when it first arrived, but now it looks great with a blued finish and restored stock. Its ready for a scope to be mounted and a day at the range.

10.01.2022 After many hours of hard labour, we completed this beautiful shotgun restoration. We made the stock, refinished the metal work, re-cut the engraving and repaired the trigger and hammer. Good to see this old shotgun back in excellent condition and ready to take to the range.

07.01.2022 Hello everyone! Well its been a busy couple of months working in the shop so we thought we should give you an update on what weve been doing. Weve had a number of customers contacting us about glass bedding stocks, bluing firearms and installing muzzle brakes so weve been working hard to get these jobs done for you. Well post some pictures of a few of the firearms weve worked on recently. Weve also purchased a stock duplicating machine so we will be ready to start dup...licating stocks for you shortly. 07.01.2022 Hello everyone, we know its been a while since we have posted anything so heres an update on what weve been up to - Hot Salt Bluing and Express Rust Bluing! We now have these 2 genuine firearms finishes available and the results have been amazing! Here are some pictures of a Lee Enfield Mk III we blued to bring this beautiful rifle back to its former glory along with some fresh coats of oil on the stock. We also blued a Holloway & Naughton side by side shotgun and hand crafted a new stock and forend. If youre interested in having any bluing work done please contact us and well be happy to help!

The first rifle is a Howa 1500 in a complete MDT ESS Chassis system and the stock was hydro dipped in our workshop. We are still working on the hydro dipping process and figuring out the kinks so we hope to have this available soon. 05.01.2022 HOLIDAY NOTICE! Just letting you know we will be closed from the 22nd December 2018 until 7th January 2019, as well as the Australia Day public holiday on 28th January. 05.01.2022 Glass bedding rifle stocks has been quite popular, it can be a tedious process but the results are well worth it and the customers have been very happy with the results. These are a bedded stock for a Ruger Scout and an assembled Howa 1500 in a Boyd stock.

04.01.2022 Here is a double barrel shotgun that we restocked by duplicating the original stock and handcrafting some alterations. We also made the length of pull longer for a better fit to the customer. The flat-top checkering in place of the butt plate and the checkering on the grips was also done in house. If you would like a new stock, restoration or even a re-cut of the checkering on your rifle or shotgun please contact us.

03.01.2022 This is a test fire of the Benelli 22 comp pistol. This pistol came in with ejecting issues caused by the chamber being rough and corroded. The barrel had also been shot out needing replacement. We installed a new barrel liner and as you can see it runs like new. If your old 22LR is worn out and you want to bring it to life, bring it to us.

02.01.2022 Hello everyone, well lately weve been working on a couple of restoration jobs on some old rifles to get them back into functioning condition. We worked on a Lee Enfield .22LR Trainer and a Winchester 1894 that hold a lot of value to their owners, so we were happy to do everything we could to make these guns shoot again. Were pleased with the results and the owners are thrilled they can take the rifles to the range to shoot again. Well post some pictures for you to see the restorations.
