21.01.2022 We are very proud of all our Firies, inparticilar the 6 that dropped everything to deploy to NSW. In our eyes they are heroes, but they don't look at themselves as such, just normal humans doing a job they love to do. Congratulations Ben Linnett, Sharleen Bachelor, Adam Hermelin, Caitlin Dewar, Josh Brown and David Woodhams.

20.01.2022 Meet behind the masks, some of the Shepparton Firies from FRV station 75, along with volunteers from Shepparton CFA who are participating in Movember again this year. Special thanks to the 2 Mo Sister's, Amelia and Sharleen. They are raising money for men's health. You can donate to your favourite firey or the team. https://au.movember.com/team/2235376?

20.01.2022 ANZAC Day - 25 April - is probably Australia's most respected national holiday. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as ANZACs, and the pride in that name still stands to this day. The Australian and New Zealand forces landed on Gallipoli on 25 April, meeting fierce resistance from the ...Ottoman Turkish defenders. The campaign dragged on for eight months. At the end of 1915 the allied forces were evacuated. Over 8,000 Australian soldiers had been killed. April 25th soon became the day on which Australians remembered the sacrifice of those who had died in the war. The 25th of April was officially named ANZAC Day in 1916. In London over 2,000 Australian and New Zealand troops marched through the streets. A London newspaper headline dubbed them the knights of Gallipoli. Marches were held all over Australia; in the Sydney march, convoys of cars carried wounded soldiers from Gallipoli attended by nurses. Commemorative services are held at dawn the time of the original landing.

20.01.2022 Congratulations to the 6 Shepparton Firies that dropped everything to help our NSW brothers/sisters in their time of need during the 2019/2020 fires. Congratulations Adam Hermelin, Caitlin Dewar, Sharleenn Bachelor, Ben Linnett, Josh Brown and David Woodhams who was not present for the interview.

08.01.2022 As many of us are spending more time than ever before at home, heaters are being turned on, the kids are doing remote learning, now it is important to take steps to prevent fires in the home. What better time to take some time out and check your Home Fire Safety and Escape Plan. Attached is a two page flyer check your hot spots. One side of the flyer has a simple checklist/diagram of preventative measures for each room in the house. The other side is a grid where you can... draw a diagram of your home and map out exit points for each member of the household. 05.01.2022 Due to the strict Covid-19 guidelines outlined by CFA we will not be able to deliver Santa to the children on the fire truck this year. This has been a difficult decision to make and we, the Shepparton Fire Brigade are as disappointed by this decision as you all will be as well. This decision was made to ensure the safety of our community and our firefighters. We will see you all in 2021
