19.01.2022 While there is a whirlwind of packing up and moving here at Shepp High, our World Challengers have been white water rafting on the Trishuli river in Nepal. They have just reached Pokhara, where they will complete their community project before flying home to reunite with their families on Christmas Eve.

18.01.2022 Thank you to all who came to our Open Day yesterday. Here’s a little recap.

17.01.2022 While we are sweltering in 40+ degree heat, our World Challengers finished their 11 Day Rolwaling Trek in Nepal, where they faced temperatures of -20 degrees! They are heading back to Kathmandu for some R&R before setting off to complete their community project in a school outside Pokhara. Cobram Secondary College Wanganui Park Secondary College

14.01.2022 UPDATE: Due to the predicted extreme heat tomorrow, NO school buses will be in operation. School will run as normal, but we understand that many students may not be in attendance due to the buses not running. We will have indoor air-conditioned spaces open at recess and lunchtime tomorrow in order to keep everyone out of the sun and cool.

12.01.2022 We know the rain is out, but we won’t let that dampen our spirits. Come along to our open day from 11am-3pm today (drone photo in the oval at 12:30pm). We look forward to seeing you there. (Coffee will be available for purchase from Peter at the Country Coffee Van)

12.01.2022 Our World Challengers have made it to Nepal and are getting ready to head on their 12 day trek.

10.01.2022 Our World Challenge students have completed their community project, helping to paint a school in Pokhara. They then returned to Kathmandu for some last minute shopping and are now on their way home!

09.01.2022 Our Year 10s had an amazing time at their formal last night, celebrating their last day of Year 10 before starting their Year 11 orientation next week. A huge thank you to Year 10 Team Leaders Ben Murphy and Robyn Hough, and the student formal committee, for their hard work in organising the evening.

08.01.2022 SHS Open Day... this Sunday 1st Dec. Who’s coming?? Honouring the Past (1909-2019), as our school closes to become GSSC.... As current School Council President, I will absolutely be there, and look forward to seeing my ol’teachers and classmates If you can’t make it, send me ‘your best memories’, or ol’pics or ‘funniest thing’.... contribute with something as we are hoping to create a book. I also remember our classmates who have gone before us

07.01.2022 Due to the prediction of extreme heat tomorrow, the Department of Education has cancelled all excursions. Classes will run as normal and air-conditioned rooms will be opened during recess and lunchtimes for students to stay out of the heat. Stay safe, everyone.
