This weekend was scheduled for the 2020 Shepparton Running Festival, however we, like many other races have had to sadly cancel, but we want to give a shout out to all the runners, sponsors and supporters who have supported us in the past. 22.01.2022 We love our course and running along the Goulburn River. It was in 2013 that the Festival made the move to start and finish at Victoria Park Lake. We love showcasing the beautiful Goulburn River with the wattle blooming, as well as the lake precinct. 09.01.2022 While we set off for our Sunday Long Run, if for training or to maintain fitness, it was in 1998 the Shepparton Running Festival incorporated a full 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half marathon and a 10km fun run into the festival. President at the time, Mr Gawne, said he would like to see 50 competitors, but 100 would be ecstatic. In 2019, the SRF saw 141 runners compete on the day. We hope to all our past and future competitors that their training still remains strong at we look forward to seeing them in 2021.
