Thank you to Sheridan Partners, Dawes & Vary Riordan & Water Par...tners for their generous contribution to our Community. These Organisations’ again have supplied KCLC with a Winter Food Donation that we can add to our supplies for the vulnerable in our area. We appreciate and respect the efforts of those in Kyabram that assist our Community alongside KCLC. KCLC remains open during the restriction period and maintains a focus on community support. Since March we have seen an increase to those requiring extra support come from a broader community base. Those recently retired and those that have had to access Centrelink for the first time. The cost to families for Sanitizers and cleaning (Hygiene) items has increased their weekly/fortnightly shop. Our Material Aid Food boxes, will now include disposable face masks. Once again the management and staff of Sheridan Partners, Dawes & Vary Riordan, Waterpool Trading and Elders Insurance are very kindly donating time and gifts to be distributed by KCLC to those in need in the community. So we would love you to join in and spread some Christmas cheer. Our tree is ready and waiting in the reception area at 147 Fenaughty Street!! Gifts can also be left at the Christmas tree in Woolworth...s, or at the community centre. We can all bring joy to others & make a difference

23.01.2022 If you’ve received a government stimulus payment this financial year, do you know whether you need to include it in your tax return? Different payment types are... reported differently: JobKeeper payments if you’re an employee these will be included on your income statement as salary and wages or an allowance. JobSeeker payments need to be included in your tax return and will also be included on your Centrelink payment summary. Accessed super you don’t need to pay tax on COVID-19 early release of super amounts, so you don’t need to include this in your tax return. No need to manually fill this out, most info will be automatically included in your tax return by late July.
