03.01.2022 A Dream, A Vision, A Concept, A Passion It all came together perfectly on Tuesday at The Rift in Bowral for my Provence Charm Garden Wedding Inspiration workshop. Designed for wedding photographers who value fine art, details, connection and community. Photographers who want, not only to capture a moment freeze in time but a space to connect with like-minded people in the industry. There's always a back story to every image, every situation and there are plenty of ...stories to tell about how this workshop came together. One very important story I want to share is WHY. Why I decided to start hosting workshops for photographers. So many people told me I was crazy "Don't go giving away all your ideas", "Don't share your secrets". Starting out in the wedding industry just over 5 years ago I had, NO help, NO one to guide me, NO one to talk to, NO one to bounce ideas off, It was LONELY, TOUGH and Mentally exhausting. Then there was the style. I couldn't find any workshops in Australia that spoke to my heart. A workshop that delivered the look, style and aesthetic I wanted to create and capture. They were all in Europe and America SO, I thought. I'll create my own community, my own space, my own happy place for people to come and join me. I knew there would have to be others out there like me. Photographers who wanted a community and support who would LIFT each other up when times were super shitty.
