The timber used was the last timber milled from their land before her husband passed away, so it had huge sentimental value. We hope she enjoys her table for years to come! 18.01.2022 Well...I made a Phoenix...it leapt out of a piece of Lebanese cedar..this is a seris of photos during crafting...happily it sold at the Channon market...to a wonderful woman who the piece spoke to from across the market...how awesome! !..Newsflash...Sherwood inspired pieces are now in The Silver Mill in Uki a wonderful art space that has pieces in silver opal and now...timber..check it out..Jeremy has his own pieces on display as well as having other craftsmen and women exhibit there...everything is eco resource responsble as well at ethically presented honorably. ..have a look its all unique and gorgeous...cheers

Camphor logs...leaning up against a shed for 40yrs..or so...as a woodworker this is pretty close to xmas and ya birthday rolled into one . ..reclaimed timber with the potential to amaze...log in the pics is 2.2m long x about 300mm wide...ohhh the posibilities!!!....now comes the eternal question. ...what to make...get to the Channon market in a week or so to see if anything has leapt out of the log...cheers
