As we are located in the City of Darebin being able to partake in projects within our local area and more importantly a project that helps our Community. These images are from the Changing Places Project located in Kelvin Grove Preston opposite Preston Library. What are Changing Places? Changing Places facilities are larger than standard accessible toilets. They have extra features including an adult-sized changing table, cei...ling hoist system, and enough space for two people either side of a peninsula toilet, all in a safe and clean environment. Changing Places can only be accessed with MLAK (External link) (Master Locksmith Access Key). How do Changing Places Facilities benefit the community? Changing Places facilities will support the 326,400 Victorians, with high support needs to participate in their local community and access recreational attractions, parks, community spaces, entertainment and sporting venues. One in five Darebin residents have identified as having a permanent or long-term disability (Darebin Household Survey 2014).
