14.01.2022 Queensland COVID Regulations in relation to sport and exercise from 6pm 11/1/21 to 21/1/21 The Premier and Chief Health Officer have announced that the lockdown for Greater Brisbane will end at 6pm on 11/1/21. For the next 10 days we can return to having organised competition and training under a COVID Safe Plan, with some additional requirements over and above what was in place before the lockdown.... The key additional requirements that relate to athletics activity are: You must carry a mask with you at all times when outside of your home. You must wear a mask in indoor spaces other than your home (examples - club houses, toilets, official’s room) You do not need to wear a mask while exercising or competing on the field of play. In outdoor spaces you should socially distance at all times and if that is not possible wear a mask Children under 12 are not required to wear a mask. Events with an approved COVID Safe Check list are now capped at 1000 total. If you are attending other events, you are encouraged to check with the organiser for any specific requirements that might relate to that event or venue. Have your masks ready, socially distance, wear your masks when indoors or where strictly socially distancing is not possible. More information can be found at: https://www.qld.gov.au//coronavirus-covid-19/current-status

01.01.2022 Few people have commented about the difficulty in running in a mask. With my genuine N95 Particle Respirator, breathing out fogged my glasses, and after about 2Km of increasingly desperate gasps inwards, the filter fabric started to unravel, getting in my mouth and airways
