16.01.2022 Whoa?! Where am I? Last thing I knew I was sitting in math class and now I am stuck in the 70's!! I look around the room and everyone has long hair, they are wearing bell bottoms and everyone is saying Groovy and Peace Out! It looks like I am gonna have to use the order of operations that I have learned in math class to get back to my current date and time.... It looks like there is a series of locks too.... help, I better be cool and get started so that I am not stuck in the 70's for good, that would be far out! I better move quick, I am already sounding like I'm from the 70's! Catch ya on the flip side!

14.01.2022 Congratulations Year 6 2020. In this strange year its easy to talk about what we have missed out on. Today, year 6 chose to celebrate what they've achieved. We've just finished a fantastic Graduation Assembly where all our year 6 teachers shared some words of wisdom about taking every opportunity that presents us. Please enjoy these photos of the day until we can share the professional images.
13.01.2022 Stranger Danger Alert Craigmore Reserve, Kellyville It has come to our attention that students have been approached by an adult male, a stranger to them, in Craigmore Reserve, Kellyville of an afternoon after 3.00pm. Our teachers are aware of this and as a school, we have promptly addressed this concern to ensure student safety. The Police have been notified and are investigating this concerning safety issue. Classroom teachers have explicitly taught and revised Stranger D...anger strategies with their students today at school and have stressed that they must always report strangers attempting to communicate with them to a known adult, such as a parent or teacher immediately. Please ensure you speak with your child about this matter and for further guidance please visit the following sites: https://www.safety4kids.com.au/safety-zone/stranger-danger https://www.police.nsw.gov.au///504226/keeping_me_safe.pdf https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/keeping-your-kids-safe. We strongly recommend that students do not walk home on their own over the next few days and that parents make suitable arrangements to ensure the safety of their children once they have left the school grounds. Please refer any concerns to NSW Police. Kind regards, Mrs Jody Sullivan, Principal
11.01.2022 What an exciting adventure our new Kindy students went on today. They found lots of teddy bears hiding in classrooms and finished with an adventure through long wavy grass, thick oozy mud and a deep cold river. We can't wait to welcome all our 2021 Kindergarten students back next year.
11.01.2022 Have you enrolled your 2021 Kindergarten student yet?

09.01.2022 Parents....we want your feedback! Recently some teachers have been busy handing out flyers to parents at the school gate to encourage the completion of our Tell Them From Me Parent Survey. It is important that we consult with our community and this is just one of the ways we are doing this. Please use the QR code in the Newsletter, via the SZApp. Alternatively use the link below to give us your thoughts and ideas and help us continue to make SRPS the best we can be. http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/vtvy7

04.01.2022 **Wellbeing Wednesday** Does your child use DISCORD? Are you aware this is a platform for 13+? More and more we are seeing and hearing about students engaging with online platforms that are not designed for their age. These platforms have age restrictions as they require a high level of emotional and social intelligence that children of primary school age have yet to develop. Over the coming weeks we will share parent posters to provide you with information on the risks associated with the various social media platfoms and apps. We hope this helps you make informed decisions as parents.
