From my personal collection this dress was the last lot of manufactured garments to go out under the original #girlboss Sophia Amoruso before Nasty Gal moved to the new owners. I decided to sell it because I would probably never have an occasion to wear it, and I wanted it to be loved by someone who would wear it. ... She sold yesterday and she's off to her new home in HOLLYWOOD, USA today. What's your biggest selling/donating regret? Ever have anything you loved but got rid of?

08.01.2022 As many of you know, I am a one woman team. I have a few fab Volunteers and a great group of supporters, but a lot of the day to day running of She Sells It is just little ol' me. I run marketing, photograph, measure, list all the items, fulfill the orders, pick up donations, drop off orders, take meetings etc etc Lately, I've been desperately holding on to my dream of how fantastic She Sells It could be one day. The more I plan and the more I work, the more I realise doin...g this alone is nearly impossible. Especially when juggling 3 kids, a household and everything that comes with that. So after a lot of thinking, I've decided to close She Sells It for a while. Closing the online store, means I can free up a huge amount of my time to build connections, network with amazing people, and (most importantly) work on raising capital to open my storefront. Doing this is hard, but it means that when we eventually re open, we are stronger, more prepared and ready to put our true vision into practise. We are definitely not gone forever, but we are so much more than just selling clothes so for the forseeable future we will be closing our online store, and working behind the scenes to build an amazing business to reopen in the future.

06.01.2022 Curtin Ignition is open for 2020! Some of you may remember that I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship from City of Armadale to attend this program in 2019! I highly recommend the program to anyone who is in the first stages of their business & looking to build and grow. It's an intense program but so worth it! It's running again for their 10th year. 05.01.2022 We often hear that we can’t fill from an empty cup. We know this is true, that we need to look after ourselves to ensure we can look after the other humans in our life that depend on us, but the cup analogy works in various ways. Our first priority should be self care; Make sure you’re looked after. Then we need to fill the cups of our family. With work, school, extra activities it is sometimes difficult to find lots of time for everyone, but here’s the secret.... You... don’t need lots of time! Quality over quantity time & routines are great cup fillers. A distraction free 15mins a day could mean the world to your child(filling their cup!) & it will give you some breathing time to relax from your adult life. In our home we do Good Thing, Bad Thing. We try to eat dinner as a family every night and at least myself or my husband will eat with our kids. So every night we go around the table and say one good thing that happened in our day and one bad thing that happened. This allows our family to celebrate the good in our lives and to discuss the bad. It’s a great cup filler because we are together, our kids feel heard and their feelings are validated! Feel free to try it with your family this week! See what a difference it makes, it can be before bed, at breakfast time, what ever works for you! Fill that cup babe!
