25.01.2022 NIMBIN We said to ourselves.. well, we may as well while we’re here! With only our preconceived ideas on what we would find, off we went to Nimbin! Whilst not far, the nature of the roads and the location means you’re about an hour inland from Byron- so I recommend heading over to have lunch to cover the time investment in the car! Nimbin offers the entire spectrum of life but I must say.. it’s an entirely judgement free zone, and that was SO refreshing! ... A mixture of shops, each with a different soul, a range of food options (mind Megs ‘dipping’ fingers in my lunch) and a whole lot of free love! Leave your watch behind and your mind open! 18.01.2022 Today’s amazing space was Gaia Retreat in Byron’s serene hinterlands.. breath taking from start to end! It’s no wonder it’s a haven for celebrities needing to recalibrate! This property is so exclusive and authentic in its offerings that photos couldnt be taken within the resort.. in fact you’re encouraged not to use your electronics while immersing yourself in your wholesome stay. I saw two room types, the pool/treatment area, gym, yoga area all in lush surroundings. So many... tips to share on this property but I think I’ll make like Gaia and keep the exclusivity for clients at this stage Gaia Retreat & Spa

15.01.2022 WAS YOUR EARLIER GUESS RIGHT? If you said I was at @elementsofbyron you were 100% spot on! Stunning, stunning, stunning property with something to offer everyone.. I didn’t want to leave! While it’s full occupancy there for some time, I was lucky enough to see one perfectly appointed room , the main pool area, events centre and adults only pool. My favourite spot was actually this one and you know me, I’m all about points of difference! It won’t be photo of the day bu...t I wanted to get a bit in to show you, bear with me a little.. It’s right here that you’ll watch the sea in it’s afternoon glow to the east and the famous Byron sunset in the west. Just two stunning guest rooms at this property which has been host to many tv weddings over the years.. immaculate gardens, such a peaceful setting for those wanting off the grid! Gorgeous art on walls, an outside tub in one room and an all round amazing look- the buildings are made from rammed earth. So unique, everything is so tastefully curated. 06.01.2022 Travelling with toddlers advice.... find what works and just do that! The first day and night are probably the roughest but if there’s one thing about kids and scenery.. they soon adapt! We’re travelling with Meg at the age where she’s older than the old ‘eat, sleep, repeat’ chestnut but not quite old enough to play independently for a length of time. One of us is always ‘on’! ... But that’s ok, kids grow so fast we’ll be talking schoolies soon and it’ll be me crashing their plans at this stage So for now, it’s early dinners by the seaside in pj’s! @slice.pizzeria at Byron Bay.. highly recommend!
