22.01.2022 Three Coat Magic Coat Never heard this term? Don't worry it's a bit of painters drivel for you. I wont bore you with it but 3 coats gives you a solid finish & usually a happier client. This works the same way with tanning especially when it comes to legs. ... Due to usually dehydrated skin the legs suck the tan in straight away which then leaves you with a lighter tone than the rest of the body. Here at She Wolf to fix that issue I apply 3 coats to help even the skin out , give you more of a solid finish & the fade out is alot better too. See a bit similar to painting! I credit my painting background to knowing bases , coating systems ect .... who would of thought the tanning world needed a painter On another high note I dont charge extra for the 3 coats. 14.01.2022 Reminders Hey lovelies I hope everyone is having a wonderful long weekend. Just a few reminders as I'm getting quite alot of messages in regards to these things. ... I'm NOT mobile - sorry but this doesn't work for me. I supply alot more than the average tanning salon so for me to cart all that stuff & also with a 3 year old in tow just is not appealing to me. Hours- My hours are from Monday to Friday 6am to 7pm. I am closed weekends & publuc holidays.This is the only time i get with my family so please be respectful if I say no to outside my operating hours. Kids are welcome, please bring them along if you want to. As a mum I know what its like to try & do something for yourself. Unfortunately there is very little places that let you have your kids, so I have a play area with a cubby house to keep them busy. Payments - Due to unhonest people i am cash only. Unfortunately alot of people new & old clientele not done the right thing. Cash is something i dont have to constantly chase up so its easier for me. I always have change so please dont worry if you can't get a straight $30 or $25 . I am a full time mum so if you dont feel comfortable with my daughter being around during your appointment please book in after 4pm. She has been doing this since a new born so honestly she's not interested in what's going on she's very focused on her toys. When your here please ring the bell & take a seat on the bench out front of the salon i will be with you straight after my next client. Please dont bang on the door non stop, bash on the garage or constantly ring the bell its very rude. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask . Much love Tegan

09.01.2022 Strawberry Legs Has anyone else heard this term before? If not the dreaded strawberry legs is when ones pores are open.This can happen alot after hot showers, if your skin produces alot of oil & sun damage, just to name a few . I've had a few clients explain that once their fake tan has settled, little brown dots appear on the legs. Unfortunately this out if my control but I can give you a few tips on how to prevent this issue prior to your tan.... Biggest most painful tip a cold shower prior to getting your tan . Run a ice pack over your legs this will close the pores straight away Give your skin time to heal after shaving (12 -24 hours depending on your skin). Shaving your legs opens up your pores so i highly recommend shaving a day or two prior to receiving your tan. Another note you can always shave after your tan just use hair conditioner the silicone works as a film over the skin & it helps nourish your skin too . Don't use shaving cream it strip's the tan straight away . Barrier cream - I use a special product from Michael's which you can purchase through me . This cream helps dry areas of your skin & also helps to close those pores . If you haven't had time to do the above let me know & I can apply it before I start spraying. I hope this has helped guys . 05.01.2022 Dry skin & Dark spots We all have a certain spot on our body that is dry , unfortunately when receiving a fake tan these spots do become more noticeable. Regardless of the tan you use or the person tanning you ,these spots won't disappear unless you put in the prep work.... Dry skin is the culprit of patchy fade outs & dark patches because it absorbs extra DHA (dihydroxyacetone, the active ingredient in self-tan). How can I fix this problem? Lucky there are easy fixes. Drink your 2 litres + of water everyday, being hydrated on the inside affects your skin on the outside to. Scrub- i cant stress this enough 24 hours before your tan exfoliate your skin preferably with a sugar scrub ( i can send you a recipe on how to make your own) Dont dry shave - seriously don't do it ! It leaves lines on your legs which the appear on your skin once tan has been applied & it looks terrible. Always use hair conditioner to shave your body . This helps to keep the skin nourished. Body oil or a moisturiser for dry skin- Any of these products helps to prolong the tan plus helps to keep your skin soft. I am in the process of adding body oil & dry skin moisturiser to my online shop but im the mean time , try your local chemist they can recommend a great moisturiser or oil for dry skin ( Micheal's products are amazing , I personally use them in my business & on my own skin) A few other handy tips Keep your jewellery off while your tan is processing , this can cause your tan go funny in areas, due to metals & DHA reacting. Try not to wear a bra while your tan is processing .This can leave strap marks that unfortunately can't be fixed once the tan has settled. Avoid doing much while processing just sit back relax & watch a movie or two, good excuse to be lazy. Avoid tight clothing & shoes, same thing as the bra situation. Unfortunately tight clothing can rub the tan off. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to comment below or PM me. Much love Tegan

03.01.2022 Good Morning! To all my clients coming to me today if you have an umbrella or a poncho, I highly recommend bringing it. I do have an umbrella myself so I'm more than happy to walk you out to your car.... Little tip - If you do happen to get a little wet from the rain, use an old make up brush to blend the tan out. This works a treat & stops the tan from getting ruined.

02.01.2022 Who doesn't love a good pair of tanned flawless legs ?. I always recommend going that extra coat on the legs to achieve something similar to below . It doesn't cost any extra for a second or third coat. ... In my opinion all tanning salons should be giving that extra coat at no extra cost. From someone who is a painter by trade you can't achieve a solid coat with just one application... makes sense right ! Keep that in mind next time you visit a salon or your applying tan yourself. I used Naked Tan Dark Chocolate on Emma left on for 4 hours & applied 3 coats on the legs.
