25.01.2022 Hey beauties! Wow it’s been a while since I caught up here on Facebook! My apologies. I’m usually a lot more active on my Instagram page but I promise I’ll be more active here again from now on. I know some of you don’t have Instagram. 24.01.2022 Many girls ask how do we decide on what shape suits them best. Easy! First I assess your brows. We discuss your concerns, and desires. Some girls show me examples of brows they like. Once we starts shaping, I check if there are any asymmetries. If so, we try our best to even them out. We use our Phibrows mapping/shaping tool. The golden ratio tool. I follow your natural brow bone to shape brows for you. If there are any asymmetries, I’ll adjust them and complete the shape. If... a client is happy we then go ahead. If a client wishes to make adjustments we can always trial it out before we are both happy and confident with the shape. My priority is to make sure my client is happy and anxious free before we begin. I’d never proceed with a treatment if I see my client isnt feeling confident or sure. My work is not to do the convincing or insisting. My work is to create when a client is happy for me to do so of course. At touch up, when the brows settle, we check everything again and see if we need to make any adjustments. See more

23.01.2022 Good brows can get even better thanks to our amazing advanced microblading technique! There isn’t any colour we can’t match! Look at this beautiful blend and those fluffy head strokes!

22.01.2022 Microstrokes and many of them! Achieving a neat but still a fluffy natural look. Results look like you have full brows but you had an amazing wax job! . . I try to talk a lot about styles and there are many! But in general I get mainly two types of clients. One client may request for a ‘neat defined’ look and that is the look of waxed brows in a neat line. Orrrr some girls ask for a more natural look of non waxed brows. So that is when there are some longer some shorter hai...rs. And some girls want defined but still fluffy looking. And that means they want a neat look but that has more hair making it look fluffy! Also some girls want neat strokes at the front and some want more uneven fluffy look. Gosh I sometimes wish I had a camera during our consultations with all my clients! One girl can walk in and be totally different from the last one! I hear the word brow, brows, so many many times in one day! Haha! but I love my job!

18.01.2022 Microbladed Brows looking so natural you’d never guess they were microbladed. Pictures don’t even do them justice! Before microblading I always visualise what would suit best for my client. I then map out the shape and try make the hairs flow in their own natural direction/s. Leaving right amount space in between hairs is done on purpose. Sometimes more sometimes less.

16.01.2022 Microblading ‘head strokes’ is a very personal choice with my clients. Some like it more fluffy, and some more neat. Some women like them uneven and more natural and some like them to look trimmed and groomed. Generally I look at my clients own hair flow (if they have hair there) and I blend new strokes in the same/similar pattern as their natural hairs. There are many patterns to do and I love doing them!

14.01.2022 Just fluffy microbladed brows! Here we have a beautiful client with extremely sensitive skin. So what happens when a girl has sensitive skin? . . She bleeds more and has more fluid called ‘lymph drainage’. This can extend the time of treatment slightly as it takes more persistence to have the ink absorbed. It can also cause some scabbing. Most of the time, girls only bleed in only a ‘dot form’ or hardly at all. I have some examples of that in my saved ‘highlights’. .... . In addition, our aftercare focuses on minimising scabbing, and we have a large ratio of girls not scabbing. So in one month of total clients, maybe 1 to 2 girls may scab a little. The pain is numbed throughout the procedure with tiny amounts of numbing gel used on tiny area, which is brows in our case. Today, salons are not permitted to use numbing for large areas on body as it enters the blood stream and it has been reported to make clients ill. At Sheyla Brow Boutique, we only use tiny amount on such small area that it has no negative impact but provides great comfort to clients. . . As Brow is a small area, we still take all precautions for our client safety and go into client medical history and present medical status. We do ask that breastfeeding mums skip one feed after the treatment and if they could express milk for their baby before treatment. We don’t perform microblading on pregnant ladies. We also provide a list upon booking who isn’t a suitable candidate for the treatment. See more
