We are pleased to advise that a new cemetery has been agreed to in principle and will be opened InshAllah on March 21st - 2021. We request you all to lock this date in your diary and we will advise timing shortly. The facility will include a maksel (mortuary) and prayer room. The facility will have capacity of up to 10,000 plots each plot being double depth - allowing for 20,000 burials. More information will follow shortly. This is a major project for Shia Community in Sydney and will provide services to all Muslims. We request your prayers to make this a worthy project for our community.
