23.01.2022 This is interesting. A study on sleeping better when wearing socks when you sleep. The studies of course were done in winter weather. I don't think I would sleep better with socks in stinky hot Aussie summers! LOL! I am certainly not a fan of wearing socks to bed, but I love my hot water bottle at my feet when it's cold out.

13.01.2022 I would say that at least 50% of my clients fall asleep at some stage during their shiatsu massage treatment. 99% of them sleep VERY WELL that night! Do yourself a favour and try a shiatsu massage. It truly is like no other massage modality.

12.01.2022 Today is the spring equinox - a sweet moment of balance, where the dark and the light are in equanimity. A calmness; a balance of yin and yang; the sun and the moon. And wow! It seems from winter weather last week, the sun is returning and we are immediately getting a glimpse of summer. You can feel it in the air. Time to come out of our shells. Time to plant seeds and create.... Time to breathe out. This post is later than I would have liked, as I was at my girls' state gymnastics competition. Funnily enough, both of them competed on the beam - where they were challenged to find their balance. Tonight is a good night to journal and express your dreams. Write about the seeds that you would like to plant now that will grow over the next year. They could be big, like a new business venture or they could be very small and simple, doing something small to change a habit. Now is an awesome time to do a cleanse, to feel clear and vibrant for the summer months. Honour the spring over the next month. Take the time to feel the sun on your chest as the days get longer ahead of us. Play outside. Watch the sunrise and sunset. Giggle. Dream. Be everything that makes you feel good and bloom. Feel love in your heart.



07.01.2022 Not everyone's circadian rhythm is the same. Some people are night owls while others are more naturally early birds. Whichever type you are, the melatonin-sleepy cue should always be your signal to get into bed. However, make an effort to turn off all screens an hour before you go to bed to avoid breaking your circadian rhythm and have a bussing mind going to sleep. Blue screen lights are proven to affect how we fall asleep and our sleep patterns during the night. Prioritise... getting a good night's sleep and you will reap the rewards the nest day. #prioritisesleep

01.01.2022 I have to remind myself, and sometimes be reminded by others, to drink more water. I find that I will drink more water if it’s warm. Water is so beneficial, so easy, so free yet so easily overlooked. It’s really a no brainer (actually your brain is 90% water!!!). Your body is about 70% water, the majority of your blood and every cell in your body is composed of water. ... Therefore, you need water to function properly.
