The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed with some fantastic fights displaying all the elements of Shidokan. The feeling was one of true martial artists gathering to share the common road. Soeno Yoshiji, Kancho of Shidokan, head of The World Karate Association has been a leading force of Budo from his young years. He was Oyama Sosai youngest Black Belt leader - 1st Generation - The Tiger of Kyokushin. A samurai sent to fight in Thailand undefeated and to train and teach in the USA for Oyama Sosai. I am proud he is my brother and mentor, I am proud he is the leader of a great organisation and I am proud he supports and helps not only Kempo Ryu buy any person and style that is prepared to listen, train and respect the way of the Samurai. Congratulations Soeno Kancho - you are a great and remarkable man. Osu!!
