17.01.2022 Photo from Japan trip. This is amazing. I use to go this takoyaki shop since I was 6 years old. The shop is near my grand parents house next to the sho-tengai. (Harinakano Osaka) My grandmother gave me 100 yen ($1.00) and went to the shop myself. There was many local shop on the street and it was safe to go anywhere even though I was a little girl. They still sell takoyaki for 100 yen! The owner of the shop said they used to serve 6 piece for 100 yen but then changed to 5 ...piece 20 years ago. He is standing in the same place and making takoyaki for more than 50 years now. I can not remember his look when he was young but I remember his movements and how he makes a takoyaki. It was always great fun to watch him make takoyaki when I was a child. There is always the same taste, same smell and same texture. Everything has changed but I was very happy that the takoyaki shop was still there and I was able to eat there. I enjoy eating his takoyaki as usual and my kids also love it. We had an 8 piece for 150 yen ($1.50) with Yakuruto ( Japanese drink ) 30 yen (30c) . See more

14.01.2022 Vegan/vegetarian sushi class We made all traditional ingredients. Most of Japanese thick rolls (Futomaki) are vegetarian. Ingredients are very depending on the region, family tradition, season or occasion. Common fillings are Kanpyo, Kouya-Tofu, stewed shiitake mushroom, omelette. ... Recently I make western sushi roll such a teriyaki chicken or tuna roll more than traditional sushi. It was so enjoyable to make together and great to share the taste!! See more

04.01.2022 Croquette. , When I was kids, I had 30c in my pocket and went to butcher to buy croquette. Crispy freshly fried croquettes was the best snack of childhood . I remember the taste and make it myself often. It is very good taste but it does not become the same taste I am looking for. Probably memories are made " taste " of croquette. I will try again but surly I can not make the same croquette I had when I was kids.
