18.01.2022 In a past life, I was very fortunate to put together this spectacular event at the National Gallery of Victoria. This unique, "money cant buy experience" was inspired by the famous painting - Giovanni Battista TIEPOLO Italian 16961770. Guests dined beneath its splendor, which depicts the famous contest between the Egyptian and Roman rulers, where Cleopatra wagered that she could stage a feast more lavish than the legendary excesses of Mark Antony. Cleopatra dissolves her p...riceless pearl earing in a glass of vinegar and drinks it an extravagance that causes Mark Antony to lose his bet. Guests dined in a lavish setting, with a feast reminiscent of this era. This painting can be seen at the NGV, StKilda Road. xxx Shimmer & Love

04.01.2022 We love transforming the ordinary into something special! Last night our Shimmer Event Angels had the pleasure of turning a simple function room into a "starry starry night". Twinkly fairy lights, shimmering centerpieces and hand made place cards created a very dramatic, elegant and enchanting night. We loved the unique hollow square table, which not only allowed their 32 guests to dine on one table, but showcased a feature table full of shimmery wonder.
