23.01.2022 On Saturday we ditched our scrubs and glammed up for our Christmas Party! 2020 was definitely a challenging year for everyone and our small business was not immune to that. So our Christmas party was a big thank you to our amazing team who supported us through the craziness of the year that was. We are so lucky to have a team like ours!

14.01.2022 For our patients convenience, we have an OPG machine onsite! An OPG (Orthopantomagram) is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. OPGs are commonly used during a general dental check up, but can also be conducted to monitor and diagnose impacted teeth (wisdom teeth anyone?!), fractures, infections, tumours, the sinuses and cavities. During an OPG examination, part of the equipment will rotate around your head while you remain in a still, standing or sitt...ing position. Dental x-rays are quick, painless, and expose you, our patient, to a minimal amount of low-level radiation, whilst providing invaluable information to your Dentist so they can treat you most effectively. Bitewing X-Rays allow us to have a look at what is going on between your teeth. More specifically your Dentist will be looking for signs of decay or cavities between back teeth and bicuspids (teeth in front of the molars) that would be hard to see otherwise. You don’t need bitewing x-rays every time you come in for your check up and clean. We like to update them... every 2 years so we have a clear picture (get it ) of what’s going on between your teeth.
