24.01.2022 Please be advised that Shine Equine Experiences will not accept any clients who are NDIA managed. Only plan managed or self managed.

19.01.2022 I would like to start introducing the equine team at Shine Equestrian. First up is the amazing Shetland mare Girl Friday. Girl Friday came to me from my good friend Mandy Stubbs and she can do it all. She is a wonderful therapy pony on-lead as well as an awesome ridden pony able to teach small children to ride. Shine Equestrian is very lucky to have a wonderful pony like Girl Friday

15.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE SHINE EQUINE AND COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) At Shine Equine, we are cognisant of the current situation with the spread of Covid-19 in Australia. We are monitoring the situation and keeping abreast of updates from State and Federal governments and health authorities. We take our responsibilities towards our clients, staff and the public very seriously and want you to know that we are taking measures to protect our clients and ourselves. A policy of handwashing and.../or sanitizing both before and after lessons will be implemented. All visitors to our premises are urged to comply with this policy. We will also be disinfecting all saddlery and helmets between each client. We respectfully ask that individuals with symptoms not enter our premises, and remain away for 14 days following the cessation of symptoms. As developments occur, we will continue to monitor the situation and will advise of any changes in plans to hold lessons. We thank everyone for supporting us and hope that all our clients, colleagues and friends continue to remain in good health. See more

06.01.2022 Shine Equestrian, like most close contact businesses, has been obliged to suspend home-based activities in order to comply with government guidelines. I am taking this time to develop and refresh the property, including the arena, which was built 20 years ago. The ponies and two of the horses have gone off to holiday paddocks in order to rest the small paddocks here. Friday and Morris Minor have gone to Anstead to live with Lambie, and be fussed over by two little girls. Mery...l has gone to a new home in Anstead with a stockhorse mare named Millie. Amity and Callie have simply moved next door for the time being. I hope everyone is staying safe and staying home. It's been lovely reading about the community spirit that is shining through these difficult times. Stay well, everyone! See more

03.01.2022 Monday Morris Introducing Morris Minor. Morris was a rescue pony, abandoned in Bundaberg Pound. He had a massively infected eye that needed removing but as soon as that was done, he was comfortable agsin and ready to start his new life as a therapy pony. Morris has had a lot of adventures since coming to Shine Equestrian and I'm going to be sharing them with you every Monday. Our first pic is Morris with the charming Cameron in the 2020 Firefighter's Calendar. Morris has fe...atured in the Calendar two years in a row now. Isn't he adorable? See more
