19.01.2022 Just realised it’s been over 2 months since sharing Instagram posts oops! So much was happening including a lot of writing and testing of our new collaborative artist website called @thecreativemix.co which is a new brand in our @evcollective biz. Would love you to check it out! I would also love to thank @insidermediagroup for being so patient with me - I first contacted them and paid $$ 5 years ago but put our projects with them on hold to care for a family member with ...cancer. They have been great to work with. It was our New Years priority this year to get it done! Yay There have also been so many amazing photography projects on in the last 2 months that I would love to share (love that our border bubble has expanded a little also to be able to get more clients rebooked), also some award news coming and there has been some awesome personal development in this time too, my crazy September birthday run of like half my extended fam and of course school holidays. I’ve loved shooting at home more than I thought I would but realised my space could be better so I’ve been room swapping this weekend. Currently in that mess when you are half way but I know it’s going to be much better for clients. I have a darker moody Christmas backdrop arriving soon big enough for families and will have a lighter option set up in studio too with more natural timbers, white and greens. 07.01.2022 Hello this is me if we haven’t met and I would love to help you take the fear out of having a brand session! We all know that sharing ourselves online helps to connect with our ideal clients but let’s face it - it’s also pretty scary to many of us! Fear can stop us from doing so much and those excuses like I need to get my hair done, I need to lose weight are really just fear disguised as excuses/blame. This was shot last week and the above excuses were exactly where I ha...d been but I had a cancellation at a hired venue so instead of wasting it I jumped in front of the camera before my next client. I hadn’t been to the hairdresser since March and lockdown had not been kind to the scales incidental activity is my fave kind of exercise... usually!! I had planned a big brand session just before lock down and I felt pressure to be ready for that level of shooting again. Really though, a small selection of images was perfect right now and so valuable to have something to share. I love working with clients on full brand packages that cover all the candid content as well as more traditional headshots but know that jumping in to that level of committment is not right for everyone. You learn so much from taking part in a mini day or 1 hour content creation session first. You get a feel of having your photos taken, what you wished you had worn, brought with you etc. Minis are rewarding to those fearing taking the first step and the investment is lower for you to ease into becoming more visible on your socials. I can work with hired locations on the Tweed and GC, or your home, work or outdoor locations.
