We are taking a look at the hotly contested Futurity and Derby events. Our Derby winner is a horse that needs no introduction at all and has proved to be a huge success both in and out of the penit is of course Shiney And Nu and our Furturity winner is a horse that is not only very much loved and admired but also very much still happily competingthe one and only Onya Wozza. To celebrate the 10 lucky Owners of Shiney and Nu Babies that entered the competition this past month were drawn by Sam's owner Deb Segeren and Jacob Segeren-Correnti & baby Ashton Each of the lucky winners will be sent an amazing Shiney and Nu Cap. Thank you to everyone that shared pictures and the story of your very own Shiney and Nu babies, how they are going and how they have grown into successful ponies for each and every one of you. 18.01.2022 Shiney and Nu imported Sorrel Stallion by SHINING SPARK X ANNIES NU LENA stamped his mark on Australian Reining by being the only sire to go on to win his Futurity Year National Championships and ALL his Derby Years National Championships, being trained and ridden by Warren Backhouse. Sam as he is affectionately known has progeny that are following in his footsteps, with 42 of his Progeny Earnings topping $145,000 here in Australia. Shiney and Nu's first foal crop produced... Australia's highest scoring reining run by "Lil Nu It All" scoring 77.5 and this great horse also went on to win the 2014 National Futurity Championship.
