05.01.2022 I am looking for anybody interested in learning or practising with me. Shingetsu Muso Yanagi Ryu Jujutsu consists primarily of Jujustsu (unarmed grappling), Bojutsu (6ft wooden staff) and various other techniques. I also practise Hoki Ryu Iaijutsu (sword drawing and cutting) I received my Chuden grade (about 4th degree blackbelt) from the Soke (Family Head) in Japan and maintain a close relationship with the head dojo, after starting training here in Bridgetown about 23 yea...rs ago. No prior experience in martial arts is required. Training initially will be ad hoc (I like to practise 2-3 times per week) and if there is enough interest then I will look towards creating a more formal arrangement. This system is great on its own or works well to compliment other styles. I am also happy to work with any existing group if there is an interest in Jujutsu or traditional Japanese weapons.
