18.01.2022 Inspiration to creat and pursue your passion. You don’t have to take on an old ship or a tiny sail boat journey - just what you can do to make your life cool, for yourself .. and hopefully for a better environment too? Watch this .. looks good https://youtu.be/abVNIfhxEc8
17.01.2022 Who’s coming to The Steve before or after the show? It’s will be amazing
17.01.2022 Get upa .. get on down !!
16.01.2022 At last Teddy is formally acknowledged with a VC. An amazing story of a hero almost forgotten. The HMAS Armadale is the sister ship to the HMAS Castlemaine - The Steve's neighbour in Williamstown. Listen to the story from a man that was there.
14.01.2022 What do you think for the campaign room which will be the start of the new ship tours - nets up or down. Having them down really gives you a bit of an idea of how distributive and frightening they are to marine time. Take a quick look and listen and comment up or down. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFn-rpFjuPh/?igshid=oh0ag0qoji2f
14.01.2022 So wonderful to host the close of Art & industry so many bloody clever people amongst them !
14.01.2022 When greed is so high in the exploitation of our environment it results in mass murder. Please be vigilant about your consumer choices and the support for Sea Shepherd who act to help protect our vulnerable species and environment too. RIP to these eco heroes and thank you for doing your very best resulting in the ultimate cost - their lives. Lives too are lost in the Amazon for the gain of beef grazing land. Up to 40% of what is 'harvested' from the ocean is both done illegally and a huge percent for commerical feed lots for chicken and cattle our level of 'animals' consumption is not sustainable... make good choices please.
12.01.2022 Got to find out why, marine pollution including noise pollution ?
12.01.2022 The ongoing viability of this proud ship to champion Sea Shepherd is hounded to be considered as a finalist - we have only just started the ships new mission - four months in before Covid shut down. Regardless of the outcome we will seek collaboration with other finalists or in fact anyone who champions The Steve’s new mission, Melbourne and Williamstown! https://www.kvb.org.au/library/sc2020_finalists_education/
10.01.2022 Let’s go shopping ! So great to have the Sea Shepher shop open on The Steve and Sea Shepher crew

09.01.2022 The ships first mate - Panda enjoying the music.
09.01.2022 Nets - piss them off!
06.01.2022 Makes Ship4good proud to share the message and inspire others to support Sea Shepherd. The last campaign The Steve did was operation Jeedara to help end the resource exploitation and risk to the natural environment in the Great Australian Bright - won in 2020
05.01.2022 Sunday 24 January SAVE THE DATE to be part of an exclusive crew aboard The Steve. We have something very exciting to announce tomorrow Here is a clue: Written over 40 years ago, yet set in 2021 (fiction or is it ?) BIO: ‘In a not-too-distant dystopian future, when man's most precious resource oil has been depleted and the world plunged into war, famine and financial chaos, the last vestiges of the law in Australia attempt to restrain.....’
04.01.2022 I feel increase in marine noice pollution and seismic activity.. the same that killed off the squid industry in Australia this year (coz there where no squid to be found in areas of seismic activity created by gas/oil exploration) could be a key factor in the whale stranding in Tas this week.. not enough food/squid so looking closer in shore? Sea Shepherd are getting behind pushing for national enquiry into mining seismic activities.. we all should! How to help It's time to ...speak up about noise pollution in the oceans Still, such events are likely to be more frequent in the future due to changing ocean conditions and increasing human activity such a noise pollution, commercial squid fisheries and deep sea mining. Climate change shifts ocean currents as sea temperature rises. And with this, squid availability will change. A lack of food offshore can cause stress and drive them closer to shore. We can help the whales not only by actively supporting rescue organisations such as Sea Shepherd and ORRCA, but also by helping reduce carbon emissions, foster sustainable fisheries, reduce plastic pollution and advocate for marine sanctuaries.
03.01.2022 Ok so humans please stop booming the ocean with bad base (greed for exploitation of gas/oil using loud shit) - whales need to talk, sing .. be! BTW we have better option of energy please support them - wind, solar etc https://news.stanford.edu//pattern-whale-songs-predicts-/
03.01.2022 Open 12-5.30 Saturday and Sunday - live music on the main stage Sunday bookings [email protected]
03.01.2022 So inspired by all the nominations in this years Keep Australia Beautiful awards (and honoured to be nominated) we will lift the bar to make those that believe in Ship4Good like Sea Shepherd global board proud - who allowed the ship to continue as an unofficial member of Sea Shepherd Neptune Navy for The Steve to champion education of ocean conservation. Thanks to Hobsons Bay City Council for encouraging Ship4Good too!
02.01.2022 As Ship4good Not for profit will fight to keep MV Steve Irwin in Williamstown - fight for that you love and believe in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iI236n0NIiQ&feature=share
02.01.2022 I think perhaps 70k would be nice to raise for captain Watson’s 70th - 100% to Sea Shepherd - if you can help please use the link below.
01.01.2022 This really is very sad but I love what Tassie are doing for awareness and conservation. Hmm Tassie.. wonder if they would love to have The Steve as a marine and ocean conservation tourist attraction for education and inspiration to protect the worlds oceans and champion Sea Shepherds work?
