25.01.2022 The Park carpark is currently chokkas - Consider this maybe not so hypothetical scenario if you will......1. The state government line of there being no person ...to person transmission is not correct due to low testing levels and there are a reasonable number of low/no symptom people out and about who are nevertheless highly contagious 2. Two of the three crew who travel to Park from town this morn for a 'healthy' but non-essential surf are, unbeknownst to them, highly contagious 3. They arrive and one decides to head to the dunnys for a dump before suiting up and heading into the water 4. Dump completed - but there's no soap there...its okay, going in the water anyway....5. Stops on the way back to lean against a mate's car for a good ol' chinwag - virus adheres to the vehicle ripe n ready 6. Finishes chinwag and then helps zip up noncontagious friend's wettie, hair gets stuck etc & takes a few goes - transfers virus... 7. Waxes board, picks board up by the rails and leans it against a post while suiting up - virus adheres to post ripe n ready 8. Heads into the water for some fun little Park grovels - yewwww 9. Gets dropped in on by some prick who always drops in and they get entangled...virus adheres to dropping in prick...who heads home to help his 78 year old mum prepare a meal.....what do people who are driving en masse on a daily basis into this community not get about the responsibility we have to each other? BTW this not so hypothetical scenario is based upon observations made in the past three days - like all, I have friends who are at risk due to compromised immune systems and loved ones who are older and vulnerable...there's little use to anyone in not naming this up.
