Coronation Beach will have dedicated communications infrastructure installed to support reliable and adequate communication during emergencies and provide visitors with better signal at this hugely popular location. The Shire will deliver this project with the assistance of the State Government's Regional Economic Development grants.



24.01.2022 Media Statement 26th October 2020 In relation to the matter of the recent investigation of an alleged dog attack, the Shire has taken action pursuant to its duties and powers under the provisions of the Dog Act 1976. ... The Shire has been in contact with the owners of both dogs following a review of the matter. The Shire acknowledges that this is a difficult situation and understands that the matter has been upsetting for all parties involved. The Shire considers that further public comment in relation to this matter is not appropriate at this time.

10.01.2022 The Shire has recently completed works at the Chapman Valley Heritage Centre in Nanson. The Old Road's Board building is now accessible by ramp, achieving outcomes included in the Shire's Disability Access Inclusion Plan.
