21.01.2022 TOWNSITE MITIGATION BURN A cool burn was conducted on the 23rd September in the bushland on the southern side of the Golf course. Prep work had been completed by Entire fire Management back in June part of the Stage 2 Mitigation work which was funded through the Mitigation Activity Fund Grant Program. This has been the first opportunity for Volunteers to undertake the burn with ideal weather conditions in place for the day. The burn was also used as a training opportunity so that the volunteers could observe the different lighting patterns and the fire behaviour associated with each one.
